Sunrise

[Pandora]

Purity snarled. The man before her, calmer than he had seemed earlier, could not persuade her to relax. Pandeon simply stood by, knowing better than to take sides. "Out! Now!" Purity's voice boomed forth from her lips and bounced back off the walls. Out! Now! The tree branches whipped at Talent's face, grasping to break his skin. The blind fury of Purity and her forest allies pushed him back and back, toward the exit.

Waking suddenly, Tach heard a ruckus outside her door. Glass breaking, screams from Purity, she knew exactly what was transpiring. silently, she tiptoed to the mirror. Talent's shirt, she slipped it over her head. Her actions caused a disgusted grimace to flash across her face. Quietly, and with Babi fast asleep on her shoulder, she slipped out the window and darted into the forest.

Purity rushed into Tach's room. The bedspread was a mess, Tach had surely been sleeping there. Crawling onto the bed, Purity felt it was still warm. she tossed the sheets aside, searching in vain for a girl she knew she would not find. Looking up, the distraught goddess saw that the window was opened. Purity began to wail.

Markes was desperately trying to hold back the branches until he heard Purity wail. The branches stopped attacking him. He ran over to Taches door. He saw that she had left. He felt a mixture of both happy and sad. Because Tach would live with him but she left Purity in this state. He would not be surprised if she went insane.

"That is what happens when you lock them up."

Markes jogged back to the entrance of the house. Knowing that this is the last time he will ever be in here. He knew that he would no longer be welcome with the Virtues that follow Purity. So he ran off with Fenlar back to the town to find Tach.

Justice awoke from the thrashing just below her room. “what the..”, she murmured to her self. She rose out of bed to investigate the disturbance, she caught a glimpse of her self in a mirror. Oh god, she thought. She had dark circles under her yellow green eyes and her black hair was a mess. She pulled it back into a very sloppy ponytail. Then she tiptoed out of her room trying to not disturb the other virtues that were still asleep.

As she reached the stairs the screaming and yelling got louder, something big must have happened, she assumed. Not quite knowing what to do she stalled at the top of the stairs for what felt like hours before heading down. She tried to be as quiet as she could and not bring attention to herself. After she was about halfway down the stairs the yelling suddenly ceased and she realized it was Purity crying. She didn’t really know the goddess that well and wasn’t sure whether to try and console her or not, she began to approach her.

[Pandora]

Purity sobbed and sobbed, face covered in tears. Get a grip, Purity! Her anger with her current composure made her cry harder. Of course she was sad, but she had been crying for a good half hour. She given Tach's pillow a good wash in tears, at one point even lying face and beating her fists against the mattress like a child throwing a tantrum. Sitting up, she raised her head like a wolf to the moon and howled. She sniffed all of seven times and wiped her nose on her filthy dress. Suddenly, she ceased her blubbering. At her door, there was a girl she had never seen before.

Stricken by the sight of the girl, she stumbled out onto the floor. Straightening up, she faced her. Struggling to catch steady breaths, she spoke between sobs. "W-who are y-y-you?" Purity was unsure if she knew the girl. Her eyes were swollen from crying and clouded with tears .

Justice started at Purity for a minute trying to find the right words. She had never really had much interaction with the Goddess, but she still knew who she was.“I’m um, Justice, are… you ok?” she was afraid that she could burst into tears any minute again, and really didn’t know what else she could say. Justice could tell she had been crying for a while by the puffy red circles under her eyes, and the stains on the pillow. The room had seemed to grow eerily quiet as she and Purity looked at each other. Curiosity getting the better of her she asked, “What happened?”

[Pandora]

Purity sniffed, still staring dumbly at the girl. She then began to whimper again, and ran forward. Her sudden dash had nearly enough force to knock Justice over. "She left me!" Purity howled, "My darling little girl left me!"

The goddess carried on, sobbing into the stranger's shoulder. A large dark spot where Purity's tears landed began to bleed out in the fabric of Justice's shirt. "H-how come? I try my b-best! All of them, gone! You don't think I'm a terrible goddess, do you?" Crying some more, the goddess finally realized how awkward she was probably making the girl feel. She stepped back, sniffing and wiping her eyes on her sleeve. "S-sorry," she pouted.

Justice looked at the goddess. She doesn’t seem like a bad person justice thought.
“No no, of course not…” Justice reassured her. She grabbed Purity’s hand, lead her over to the bed and sat her down. The mattress was very soft, much softer then her bed. It was also still warm from when purity was attacking it earlier. She put her hand on the goddess’s shoulders in an attempt to comfort her. She was still trembling, and having those hiccup like breaths when trying to restrain a sob.

She looked at the sniffling goddess, she could tell she needed sweets. “do you like cake? I know where we can get some cake.” Justice asked. Can you bring me some cake Creyohn? It’s an emergency. Knowing that turtle he would have a cake hidden somewhere in this house. He eats so much sugar.

[Pandora]

Justice sat her on the bed in a sisterly manner. Purity balled her hands into fists and wiped her tears from her face like a small child. Hearing Justice's offer, she nodded. At that moment, a gargantuan sea turtle hauled itself through the door. It used it's flippers to scoot itself over the floor, making a skirsh, skirsh noise with each stroke. The reptile ambled it's way across the floor for what seemed like ages. Purity pitied the creature's plight, but she chuckled slightly at the sight.

The summon finally came to a halt parallel to the bed. With its body in clear view, Purity peered onto its back. Like a living table, the turtle's back balance a perfect white and pink frosted cake, already cut in slices. The image was so perfect that Purity felt slightly guilty upon grabbing a piece with her bare hands and voraciously stuffing it in her mouth.

She finished in three bites, licking her palms clean. The goddess paused suddenly realizing her rudeness. Swallowing, she said, "thank you." Her delayed thanks caused Purity to have a sudden flashback to one of Tach's many etiquette lessons. Beginning to weep yet again, she flung herself into Justice's arms. When the crying began to subside, a melancholy flow of words tumbled from her mouth. She told the girl all about Tach, from the time she was found to her attitude towards clothing to her poor grammar. She told her about Restraint, the conflict with him and about Honesty. Relaying Tach's sudden disappearance with Talent called for another round of tears.

"All in all," She said, sniffling when she finished, "It's been a pretty rough day."

Chastity felt the grass beneath her feet. Looking in through the window of the House Eternity as best she could, she saw the two females inside the room. The one had a turtle for a summon. Cute. She backed up and lay down in a position facing away from the window. Her feet crossed at the ankles and her body a long, lean line, she used her left hand to trace circles in the grass. Her ermine summon, Kia'arit bounced around, following her tapered fingers. Even Kia'arit could tell something was bothering her. Her closest confidante, and best friend. It was only right that he could tell.

It's okay, Ki. Chastity told her summon, gently. I'm just conflicted, that's all. Kia'arit looked up at Chastity from his frolicking on the grass. There was a question mark in his small black eyes. Chastity sighed. Out loud, she asked herself, "Do I go in? Do I keep roaming until I come to another place? What do I do? I'm afraid, Ki. Afraid that the other Virtues- if that is what we are, and not just a word floating through my head -won't accept me. Afraid that I won't be able to talk around them. Afraid that I'm going to be the only one who doesn't know all the others." Unspoken, though, were the words she could not bear to say out loud: what if she were just different? Chastity hoped and prayed that she would be able to live in this strange place with people like the two in that window.

Looking at the house, again, she realized that immediately she had known it was called the House Eternity. Why? She didn't know. But it had appeared in her head and floated through just as easily as the name Virtues had.

Well, Ki? What should I do? she asked him. He looked at her again, a nod evident in his unwavering stare. Chastity accepted this, sighed again, and pushed to her feet. She took a moment to feel the grass against her bare soles one more time. Looking down for a change [for she was always looking up; it was how she was programmed] she saw that her 'light finger tracing' had turned into circles of dirt gouged from the earth. Chastity knelt on one knee and gently brushed some of the soil back into the tracts from whence it came. She whispered a quick thank you to the earth and stood up once more. She took a moment to glance behind her and feel the sweet breeze against her face. Then she turned and let the wind carry her to the front door of the House Eternity.

Markes had a very bad feeling about coming back here. He really didn't want to be attacked again by the trees. But he hopefully had Time protecting him. This would also give the chance to apologies. Maby even become friends with her again. Well that last part was very unlikely. But it was good to hope.

Markes looked back to make sure that Time was keeping up. Then he looked back at the House and saw a woman. But it wasn't Purity. It was a new Virtue. He jogged closer.

"Hey there! You here to see Purity?" He made sure that he was loud enough so that Purity could hear. Maby with the new Virtue she wont attack.

[~Pain And Panic~]

Time followed Markes. He seemed to be worried about the tress, and Time was very confused as to why.
'They're just trees,' he thought, but he didn't pay too much attention to the idea.
they came up to a house where another person was standing. Markes seemed to know what he was doing, so it clearly wasn't his place to interject. Not yet anyways.
Was this the goddess he had talked about? He wasn't cowering in fear or anything, so it must not be.
Pera, Paron and Tychi had flown overhead the whole time. When they saw the house, they flew down to land closer to Time, just in case something happened. Tychi landed on Time's shoulder. Pera on a tree nearby and Paron in front of him on the house roof. They were his eyes and ears in any situation, and they're had been many like this before. They worked as a team, and it worked well.
However, ever since he'd gotten here, they'd seemed a little less connected. Pera had flickered in and out of existence a few times, and Paron had squawked really loud in his ear a few days earlier, almost seeming to have lost his control. Only Tychi seemed unaffected by it, but it seemed logical to Time that this would be the case, because if there was anybody in the world Time felt connected to the most, it was Tychi. Nothing could separate them, no magic or bond breakers. They'd been together so long, they were inseparable.
These thoughts fluttered through Time's head as he followed Markes, waiting to see what would happen next at this strange new house.

[Vanatron]

"I'm so excited!" Innocence whispered playfully to her summon, Mydei. "I wonder who Purity and is..." Her voice trailed off as she watched the trio intently, as if waiting for a cue to enter the conversation.

Her small body was nudged forward slightly as a small gust of wind danced around her. Innocence laughed; a pure, lilting sound, like small bells chiming. She breathed out, filling herself with the swirling eddies of energy found throughout the beautiful setting. "Have I mentioned how much I love this place?" Mydei bounced his head up and down as he rolled his eyes.

Innocence grinned as she skipped off toward the others, her summon trotting close behind. "Hellooo!" She shouted sweetly. "How are you?"

Chastity whirled around upon hearing the voice behind her. Too bad her hand had been only inches away from knocking on the door. Now she would have build the courage again to knock. Silently, she cursed herself for not having the inner strength to lift her hand and make contact with the door. How hard could it be? She felt Kia'arit twitch in her sleeve and reminded herself to keep control.

Facing the man before her, she took a deep breath and tried to speak. But the words came out in a rush. "Whoareyou?" Inside, she felt like crawling into a dark hole. Curse her shyness! One more deep breath. "Um... Hi. Um, I guess I don't know why I'm here. But I've been wandering for so long. I just wanted somewhere warm and um, safe to rest."

Kia'arit twitched again, and climbed up her sleeve, poking his little white head out the collar of her blouse. He shimmied out of her shirt. He jumped down to the ground, and scampered over to the man. Ki, no! Chastity said to the ermine. Don't leave! Not now... But the ermine ignored her, and scampered over to the man. After a few tense seconds of Kia'arit's appraisal, the summon returned to chastity.

"Oh!" Chastity breathed. Then she giggled. "I think he likes you." Her muscles eased and her grim expression broke into a smile. "I guess I should also tell you that my name is Chastity. I'm just lookng for companyand safety. What's your name?"

[~Pain And Panic~]

This was Time's place to interject. He walked up beside Markes and gave the young girl a smile. The type of smile only an old man can give, kind and aged.
"My dear, you are in the same situation as me, I too am simply looking for a place to rest my aching bones and feel safe. My name is Time."
Time thought she looked scared, nervous and confused. But he felt it, this place was safe for people like her. For people like him. After all, they were...Virtues?
'I still remain unconvinced that I am one of these Virtues Markes spoke about, but I guess we'll see what happens soon,' Time thought.
Time moved towards the door, stepping up onto the steps and putting his hand to the door. He made a fist.
"It's hard being alone when you first meet people. Let's knock together."

Ooc: I’m not quite sure if it’s morning yet so bear with me hear

Justice’s eyes slowly flickered open, she was lying on the floor in Tach’s room. Purity was still curled up sound asleep on the bed. She slowly raised herself up to a siting position, her back cracking from an uncomfortable sleep. She examined the room to see what could have possibly disturbed her. Creyohn was lying beside her, he was pretty much her pillow which also explained the sore neck. Eyes still heavy she slipped back down into a lying position to fall back asleep.

Almost as soon as she closed her eyes she heard muffled voices coming from outside. She leaped up and run over to the window. Now totally awake she opend the curtains on one of the windows, realizing how bright it was outside she squinted her eyes to see the source of the voices. She spotted three people in a group and a younger girl farther off in the distance. She recognized none of the people. The group stood by the door with another girl who was tall with dark hair, but had younger looking features. And the other two were males, one was very old with gray hair and beard. The other one was a bit taller then the girl and had messy black hair.

She thought she saw the black haired one glance over so she ducked down and run over to Purity. She shook the sleeping girl “Wake up, wake up! There’s people here!” Purity just rolled over and murmured something about five more minutes. Giving up Justice ran to the door. She put her ear against the door so she could hear them talk, but just as soon as she put her face against the cold wood someone started to knock. Startled she stumbled backwards and fell, she stood back up, straightened her clothes and opened the door just enough to stick her head out.
