The grunt calmed Markes down a bit. She wasn't as upset as he thought she was. But he still felt terrible. Fenlar I want you to make sure none of the virtues from out there come here unless one of use want them to. Fenlar walked into the corridors opening. It shall be done.
"Can I come in?" Markes could feel from that grunt that she wanted him in there. But was still upset. He had to apologize or something?

Detachment still had her back to the door. Her bony spine faced Talent, the vertebrae sticking out as if her back had a vertical row of teeth. She buried her head in her folded arms and shugged her shoulders. Behind her, she heard a single set of feet advancing. Fenlar must be elswhere. Babi let out a whistling breath of relief. While he had nothing against the other summon, he was not entirely fond of being in close quarters with a creature that could probably eat him alive.
Goosebumps sprouted along her arms. The window was cracked slightly, letting cold air leak through. It felt quite unnatural to be indoors yet cold. If she closed her eyes, she could picture being surrounded by the wintry air, being outside. As the man entered the room, she was unsure if this was the source of hr chills was a result of the window being open.

Markes could feel that Tach was very upset. He still barley understood why she ran off. He was feeling very upset with himself at the same time. He took a step closer to the bed. Then decided that he should be enough for now.
Then it clicked for him. He put on a grand smile on his face. "You know I am going to be staying for the night." He knew that she would cheer up greatly from that. Then it got him thinking a bit. Does she want me here or does she want me with her?

He watched the scene unfold with astonished eyes. He had never seen Detachment burst out like this, unless it was about clothes. This new Virtue must be extremely important to her, for some reason. He seemed to genuinely care for her, so he made no move to follow Talent in worry for the younger girl's safety.
As for Restraint, well, he didn't seem to be happy about the other newcomer, and had promptly left before Purity could answer. To him, it seemed a bit rude, but considering the hostile meeting with Talent, Honesty wouldn't blame him. Watching the now stricken Purity, he placed a hand on her shoulder to reassure her.
"It'll be alright. I'll go talk to Restraint, calm him down so he'll come back. Do you want to go with me, or do you want to stay and watch the other newbie?" He asked gently, glancing at the direction Restraint took.
Ooc: I figured I'll send Honesty after Restraint, since the new thread is lonely.

Purity nodded, smiling wearily. "That would be wonderful. Thank you, Honesty." Somehow, she knew he would have a much easier time getting through to Restraint than she. "I'm a little worried about Tach, even though this newcomer doesn't seem to be the type to try anything...stupid." Pandeon nuzzled her neck, sympathetic of how tired she appeared to be. "I suppose I can send Pandeon up to make sure Tach is alright." She felt terrible for intruding on Tach's private business, but figured that, until she knew the stranger better, it was for the best. "As for me, I think I'm going to go have a nap. Good luck with Restraint."
With that, she slowly climbed the several sets of stairs leading to her bedroom. Upon entering the chamber, she stopped at the mirror. She laughed out loud when she saw how frazzled she appeared to be. Continuing across the floor, she plopped down on her bed, falling asleep almost instantly.
After Purity had made her exit, Pandeon disappeared from the hall in the direction of Tach's room. nearing the door, he tread on something small and furry. Glancing down, he saw that it was the summon which had accompanied Talent to the House Eternity.
Her ears perked up at Talent's last statement. Slowly, she rotated her head, peering over her shoulder at him. She saw the smile on his face. His happy aura infected her, and a smile spread across her lips, too. Turning to face him she leaped up, hugging him. "Perhaps we can ask Purity if we can camp outside. It's going to be fun!" she proclaimed. Detachment bathed in the warmth of having a new friend for the first time in a long time.
Later edit: Er, I can't seem to find Loss of Focus (Restraint's thread). It was in House Eternity, right?

Fenlar saw the deer come down torwd the door. He moved out in front of it. On closer examination he remembered it from the war. He gave it a low but fierce growl do that the people inside cant hear. What are you doing here?
Markes felt very relived in long time. He put his arms around her then noticed that she didn't have cloths on. He could feel his face reddening. But he noticed that he wasn't as uncomfortable as before. What am I feeling now?
When he heard what she said about going outside he had to ask. He set her down "Would you be willing to come with me and live with the Humans?" He was very serious with that question. Then though about what Purity would say. Pace yourself man.

Pandeon chuckled at the critter's ferocity. I am here to check up on Tach. However, it would appear as though you have everything under control. I'll just be- He stopped mid-sentence. He strained his ears to catch an unsettling request from Talent to Tach. Eyes widening, he cantered off to warn Purity of what the two may be planning.
Tach was speechless. Curled in his arms, she could barely believe her ears. As she absorbed what had been asked of her, her face burned. To be so close to the wild would be wonderful. She buried her face in his arm. "Of course I'd be willing to," Tach mumbled into the fabric of his clothing. Babi let out a startled squeak. This deserves some thought. He reasoned.
Tach considered Babi's remark. Purity would never allow it. However, Purity didn't have much of a hold on Tach. It would be easy to slip away unnoticed. As she thought about it, she realized how much she would miss Purity. The Goddess was the only family Tach had known in one hundred years. She leaned against Talent's chest and finished her reply. "But I'm gonna havta think about it."

Markes wasn't upset at all by what she said. He knew it was a bit much on first notice. " I am glad you are at least considering it" He gave her a warm smile. I think I . . .
Talent! Purity's summon heard what you said! She is going to tell her now! Markes almost yelled in frustration. Follow her. Markes put his hand through his hair wondering what he should do. Then remembered that Tach was there. "Purity's summon heard what I said. I am probably going to be kicked out soon." And he didn't want to go without her.

Pandeon appeared at the door to Purity's room. He Nudged it with his antlers until a crack formed between the door and the wall. Wriggling his antler inward, he pried it open. It nonchalantly twirled on its hinges. Purity's excessively large bed came into view, along with its occupant. The mattress cradled the goddess' pale figure and grass-green, grass-stained dress. She was clearly not sleeping peacefully, eyelids scrunching every so often. Her hair lay billowing about her neck and shoulders, an ink splotch on a pure white canvas. Approaching the bed, Pandeon pondered whether he was doing the right thing. Tach was no infant-she had proven heavily that she could handle herself and make her own choices. Though he knew that the moment she woke, Purity would be aware of the unrest, he considered whether he need disturb her now.
"No!" Tach shouted affirmatively. It was not out of despair, but almost a command. No, don't do that. She thought. Sighing gently, she closed her eyes. Ear against Talent's chest, she rocked ever so slightly to the rhythm of his heart. The moment was so peaceful. Nothing but she and Talent seemed to exist as she listened to the thump-sh of blood being pushed through his veins. "Let 'er c'mere, then. I'm not gone anywhere yet."

Markes was a little surprised at what Tach said. But he was even more surprised at what she was doing. He looked down at her and gave her a warm smile. "Alright, I wont leave." He was then thinking about asking her if she had decided on weather to come with him or not. But he stopped thinking about that knowing that it was too soon.
Fenlar, I want you to follow Purity's summon as quietly as possible. Tell me if Purity comes. Fenlar looked back at the door. It shall be done. Then he went off twords where the deer went off to. Luckily its sent was still fresh. When he finally found it he sat in the shadows waiting for something to happen. He made sure that the deer couldn't hear him.

Purity turned her head. Left, right, left, right. She took small steps in a circle, gazing at what surrounded her from a three-hundred-sixty degree view. Black. Everywhere, Black. Looking down at her feet, she realized she could not see what it was that supported her. The darkness lapped at her toes as though it were water, or perhaps mist. The light, white dress she was wearing almost glowed in the abyss. She took some steps forward, though she could not tell if she was actually moving.
No sound, no sights, until suddenly she heard a whisper. What sounded like footsteps scuffled about behind her. Whisper. The voice was so familiar. Whisper. a second voice joined the first, followed by a third and a fourth. The patter of feet surrounded her. Glowing lights appeared in pairs. Eyes. Familiar eyes, though their bodies were not present. Two bottle-green glimmers let out a childish laugh.
Tach.
Purity tried to speak, but nothing more than a hiss of air escaped her parted lips. These were the virtues, her Virtues. She ran out towards the green specks, but the faster she ran, the farther away they seemed to be. Tach! Purity could make no noise though she wanted desperately to scream. Where am- Stumbling, she began to fall down, down, into a dark chasm. the lights hovered over her, cackling with laughter.
Help me! Don't just stand there, help me!
Sparing the moments she had with Talent before Purity woke, Tach fell asleep to the sound of his heart.

Markes looked down at the sleeping little girl. He had a warm grin on. He moved over to the bed and gently put her in. Then put the blankets over her. He saw her summon on her shoulder. "Take care of her."
Markes gently closed the door of Taches room. He sat beside the door to her room. He started to look up at the ceiling. He was starting to think of where he was going to sleep. Then he remembered that he sent Fenlar to watch Purity. What is she doing? Markes felt his presence in his mind. Nothing that I can see. Markes was a little puzzled at that. Look into the room.
So Fenlar got up from where he was hiding and moved behind the deer. He looked into the room to see what Purity was doing. All he could see was that she was asleep. But he could smell the sent of sweat coming from her room. Maby I should send for Talent soon?

Purity's eyes flew open. Chest heaving, she sat upright. The back of her dress was soaked with sweat, though the room was cool. Out her window, she could see that that twilight had come to pass and it was now night. Stars twinkled in the clear indigo ocean above the House. Her panting slowed as she gazed around the room. Her summon stood hovering above her bed, a guilty aura about him. She locked eyes with him, connecting herself to his thoughts. Purity's breathing began to quicken again. Pandeon, Rage bubbled into her mind. Tell me they've not gone!. She sprung up, tearing out of the room. Stumbling over Fenlar did not stop her for a second. Flying down the stairs two at a time, she came to a sudden halt where Talent was sitting. She glared at him through a angry eyes, her view red with rage. "You!" She screeched. The Earth rumbled, Tree branches broke through the windows of the hall. "Leave! And don't even think about taking her with you!"

Fenlar saw Purity wake up. Then he could feel the anger build up inside her. Before she could get out of the room he ran as fast as he could to Markes while yelling at him. PURITY JUST WOKE UP! SHE IS PISSED AND AFTER YOUR HEAD!!
Markes hear what Fenlar said and calmly got up. He knew this was going to happen sooner or later. He was just about to leave when he remembered the promise he made to Tach. He couldn't leave or Tach will kill him. But he couldn't stay or Purity would kill him. But he knew it would be much more painful if it was Tach.
Markes saw Purity come into the hall then tree branches brake in through the windows. He gave Purity a mocking smirk. "I have promised Tach that I wouldn't leave. I plan on not braking that promise. Not unless she comes with me or I die here. What is your choice?" Markes really hoped that she didn't want to kill him.
