Faction: Virtue
Gender: Male
Element: Water
Summon:
Izima the LobsterPower:
Izzy is a lobster. That's simple to see, isn't it? He was Trust's companion and friend even before his sacrifice to Purity. Trust, or Kyle as he was known then, was horribly terrified of dogs, and used Izzy to lead the way for him instead of a dog.
The lobster is, first and foremost, lazy. However, this laziness is offset by great wisdom. If not helping Trust, his eyes are always closed, either in deep sleep or in deep thought. He is known for snarky comments, yet a loyalty so deep that he would cross the earth for Trust.
If there wasn't anything better to do, anyways.
When Trust first became a Virtue, his ability was teleportation, with the limit of only being able to teleport from one area with water to another.Weapon:
Three years of refinement and training have strengthened this ability, and can now teleport without being in water originally. However, he can still only teleport to water.
Through a lot of meditation, Trust has also developed some sort of way to know a person's name without ever having met them.
And though this isn't really a power, so much as something that has to be addressed, since Trust is blind, his other senses are much improved. Especially hearing. That one gets him into trouble. *wink*
Trust is, first and foremost, a pasifist. He doesn't fight without an extremely good reason; usually involving his friends. However, when he does fight, he uses a firm oak staff which is roughly the length of his arm span.Appearance:
Height:History:
5'10 (lawl, one in three years lawl.)
Weight:
145 pounds
Hair:
In the three years since his self-imposed exile, Trust's hair has changed little. It is still blonde, straight, and neglected. However, it now reaches past his shoulders and, if he were to stand up straight, would reach halfway between his shoulders and his elbows.
Eyes:
Trusts eyes are a solid shade of light blue. They see nothing, for he lost his eyes because of a freak accident when he became a virtue. His eye lashes are what others have said quite girly, and his eyebrows are thin.
Skin colour:
Due to his few years of wandering and self-training, his usually pale skin has become a very soft tan
Markings:
He has none.
Clothing:
He's never been one to care about how he dresses, simply because he never could see what he wore. Before he fled from the final battle, he wore a very losely fiting white t-shirt, as well as baggy jeans and a pair of white tennis shoes. The only change he's made to this is a necklace made from a six-sided die he found on his travels. He will wear a long grey robe he bought when he doesn't want to be recognized.
Pre-Wanderer
Even as a human, Trust was different.Behaviour:
Kyle, as he was called then, was never interested in playing games or other such things that the other kids liked. He spent all his time at the beach, looking out to sea “Kyle,” the others would say “put down your book and come play with us.”
Kyle always ignored their invitations. He also ingored the teasing he went through. He wasn’t interested. He was curious. He wanted knowledge more than anything else, so his nose was always buried in whatever reading he could find.
Then one day, he met a lobster. It seemed like any other lobster… small, red, a bit agitated at most times of the day. But this one was different. It had no interest in doing things that other lobsters did. It would often crawl up onto the shore and sleep by Kyle as he read. Kyle grew attached to the lobster, and named him Izzima. Izzy, for short.
Then, while trying to save Izzy one day, Kyle drowned. He did save the lobster, though. Impressed by this selfless sacrifice of himself, he spoke to the dead boy’s spirit. “Why do you sleep, Kyle?”
“By saving you, I have died.” Kyle said.
“Do you regret it?”
The boy paused. “No.”
The lobster yawned. “Then awaken, Trust, you have much to see.”
And thus, Kyle’s spirit rejoined it’s body. Though through this rebirth, his eyes no longer worked. Leaving his old life and his old name, Kyle became Trust. Izzy was the only one who would call him by his original name, though. And Trust allowed it, mostly because of friendship, but also because of how much the lobster helped him get around without his eyes.
For the time he could, Trust served both Purity and himself. Perhaps the first thing he did after his rebirth (besides his pledge to Purity), was to befriend the sin known as Pride, who’s dark side he later fought to save his friend’s true self. He also befriended the Drifter known as Apathy, who later left known lands to escape a coming war.
Then, Trust himself left like his friend did. He wanted nothing to do with a war. So, he and his lobster companion escaped from the coming war. For three years, Trust became what he jokingly called “The Wanderer”. He wore a long grey robe wherever he went. He meditated, trained, and improved himself. He longed so much, however, to read again. Sadly, that wouldn’t become something he could ever do.
Now, as the third year ends, there comes the time when the wanderer will throw off his robe and join the Virtues again.
((I changed his history a bit. Now it makes a bit more sense. ^^
Trust is, first and foremost, trusting. He was very naive for along time, but this quickly stopped after he became The Wanderer. He still is extremely curious and wants nothing more than to get the knowledge that he can no longer get from books. He has a huge tendency to follow people who interest him around, though most of the time, the people who he follows won't notice him.
