Legs folded, a grim expression set on her face, Elleyte began sharpening a thin silver needle. Around her seated body were clean swabs of cotton balls, and a small silver ear stud, submerged in a porcelain bowl of pure, sterile water.
Seated in front of her was Daemon. It rather surprised her that he had asked her to do such a thing for him. Actually, it wasn't the fact that her had asked her to do it that was surprising, but rather what she was asked to do to him.
L'rei sat near her, staring in amusement at the Gaianu kid. He didn't think he had the guts to do this, no. But since Daemon had outright asked, he had to witness it. Elleyte stopped her ministrations and held the needle up to inspect it. Satisfied, she dropped the needle into the bowl of water, and looked him in the eye.
"Well, kid, you ready for this?" She asked, folding her arms. While it was rather chilly up here, it was more or less isolated, except for the other Deus dragons. The only person who would come across this would be Ai and Lemuria, but their dragons weren't around, so she assumed they had gone flying together. Elle longed to join them, but first. She had to get this little favor done.Ooc: Discussed this with Kristin. She wanted Daemon to have a piercing, and suggested that she wanted it done while roleplaying. Since Elle is all piercing-happy, she gets the honors to inflict pain I think for now, no one should enter this thread yet, besides Daemon Gaianu.

The patch of grass, that once grew taller and healthier as Daemon approached, now drooped like it was trying to dig it's way back into the ground as he sat with his legs pulled up close to his chest and arms clutched tightly around them. The look on Elle's face almost scared him more than the needle she was sharpening only a few feet away. It had taken the whole first half of the day for Dae to gather the courage to simply ask Elleyte for such a favor. She didn't seem to like him much but she was the closest to his age and, judging by her appearance, she seemed to have quite a bit of experience. With this sort of stuff at least. He couldn't even remember why he was asking for such a thing anymore... Maybe so he could feel closer to some of his fellow Deus members? Bonding over something as silly as piercings--- was he crazy?
L'rei seemed almost happy... no, amused. He was soo getting a kick out of watching. It was obvious he thought Dae was incompetent and would never do something like this. Though it's kinda strange how it seemed that Daemon not only had to earn the respect and trust of the other immortals but of their dragons too- it was hard. He was trying his best to catch up to the others in abilities but, though his powers came almost naturally, he was weak in fighting and poor with a bow. It had been two years since he was sacrificed and he still didn't feel like he fit in. Of course he expected this from the beginning, always knowing that his brother would have been the better choice, but that didn't mean it made it any easier to accept. He couldn't even bond with his own dragon... two years and he still couldn't understand their language or get at all used to flying. He figured Taryn must hate him as some of the Deus do.
Suddenly the glint of the needle caught Dae's attention as Elle held it up for inspection and all other thoughts left. He watched as it splashed into the sterile water, unable to take his eyes off the bowl. When she asked if he was ready, Dae couldn't stop himself from gulping loudly. The wind swirled around them but the shiver the trailed down his spine wasn't from the slightly cold weather. "Umm..." Daemon started hesitantly, "Maybe I should go grab something from the garden...? I know some plants that have a numbing effect." He slowly got up and turned away from Elleyte, which was probably a huge mistake, "I'll be back in a few Elley~" Though he wasn't sure if he'd have the courage to return after entering his comforting garden. Maybe a different day...
OOC: Fell asleep, dad stopped by, made omelets, got some Mary's, AND now it's finished!!! Yaaayy~ Also, I imagined Dae getting two hoops in his left ear(a stud doesn't really seem to suit him sorreh!) Anyway, lawl well 'Elley' will have to stop him and go ahead and, forcibly if she has to, do the first piercing. Have fun~! XDD

Ooc: I am so tempted to draw a comic for this scene. I have the characters playing out in my mind already XD and oh. He's getting studs first, then he can change them into hoops later.
A big, creepy grin broke across her face, and she got up in a flash and placed an arm on his shoulder, causing the other Deus immortal to shiver in trepidation. "Oh, no, I think you're rather ready. If you have wanted to grab something from your garden, you should've done so in a jiffy while I was still sharpening the needle. Me thinks you're trying to escape this." She said in a darkly humorous tone, tightening her grip on his shoulder just a smidge.
"Don't be a baby, and sit down. You'll get through this whether you want to or not." She said briskly, forcing him to sit down once more. Picking up the needle from the bowl of water, Elleyte lifted up her other hand and held his ears, looking for a split second like a mother pulling a child's ears. The fingers holding Daemon's ears started to buzz with extremely mild electric current, in an attempt to numb the pain a little, and without hesitating, she drove the sharp needle through the left earlobe fast, and out again, before he had the chance to squirm or scream.
The screams always come later. Always. The shock had to wear off first. Satisfied with the clean puncture, she dropped the slightly blood stained needle into the bowl of water, which promptly turned a very light shade of pink, and pressed a swab of cotton to his ears. "Hold that." She said lightly, and braced herself for some sort of reaction.

OOC: Hope you guys won't object to Zeyshen's being a freaky biatch here.
Nearby, far enough to avoid attention but close enough to hear every word and see every action, Zeyshen was hidden well in the shadows. Normally, she wouldn't have been in the roost, but Daemon was getting pierced. Zeyshen wanted to watch. She figured it would be amusing; after all, Daemon always made her grin.
As if Daemon's pain wouldn't have been enough amusement, the person inflicting it was Elleyte. Two of her favorites--this was good. The immortal of the Umbriir house grinned.
Elleyte had asked Daemon if he was ready. Then Daemon seemed reluctant, and tried to escape. This scared Zey a bit, but Elleyte didn't let him leave. Good girl, Zeyshen thought.
The needle went in fast; Zeyshen hardly could tell that it had gone in at all. If she had blinked, she would have missed it. Before she could even register that the piercing had happened, Elleyte had dropped the needle and had put a cotton swab up to Daemon's ear.
Now comes the fun part, Zey thought, anticipating Dae's reaction.

If Dae had witnessed the smile that played across Elle's features he would have ran for his life and probably fallen down the steep steps of the dragon roost. Instead the young Deus felt shivers rack his body as Elle's arm was suddenly draped on his shoulder, instantly stopping him in his tracks. Everything she said was somewhat true but Dae just laughed nervously, "Now Elley, I would never.." he winced as her grip tightened. This girl didn't know her own strength..."run away from such a thing." he finished. Elleyte was enjoying this waay more than she should, it was obvious in her tone, in everything she did.
Dae was forced to sit back down in his spot and the hold on his shoulder turned into a death grip on his left ear- there was no way to leave now," Oww, jeeze Elley, are you trying to yank off my ear!?" he joked lightly, trying to ease his tension, squeezing his eyes shut as his ear began to buzz with electricity then went numb, "You really don-" his words were cut short as Elle suddenly stabbed the needle through his left earlobe and was surprised when he didn't feel anything right away. Maybe it really wouldn't hurt as much as he expected? Maybe the jolt worked? Dae watched Elle drop the needle back into the bowl and obediently held the cotton ball to his ear. Slowly the numbness began to wear off...
His ear started to sting slightly and Daemon wondered if it was just the electric current wearing off or the start of something he was going to regret. When it moved on to twinges of pain, Dae grimaced slightly trying to keep his cool in front of Elle. She was closest to his age and hopefully would understand best if he wasn't all tough and hardened like the rest but he didn't want to be seen as weak in her eyes as well... He bit at his lip a little to distract from the gradually increasing ache but, when a sudden throbbing pain hit him, Dae couldn't stop himself crying out and clutching at his ear. Good thing it was just Elleyte here watching..
He gave a a short anxious laugh, "Ya know, Elley, I think one is enough. If you could just help me put that stud in then I'd like to go check on the garden~" Dae gave a small smile- trying to keep up the charade that all was fine and dandy. Truthfully, if he had to endure another piercing, he might just start to cry... He was reaally bad at handling things like this, absolutely no tolerance for pain(unless in battle).
OOC: DO ETT!!! And fiiine he'll start with studs but just in the left ear- both of them(I think that would look bettah). And of course, anyone can join we just didn't want people coming up to them right off the bat. Being in the background watching is perfectly fine.

Elleyte picked the needle up again, ignoring his evasive words. "That will heal in a few days, its quite a clean puncture. Stop stuttering, you asked for this. And you'll get it." She muttered, cleaning the needle and inspecting it once more. She understood quite perfectly that it was painful, which was why she had tried to help with numbing the pain. But that sort of help could only last for so long. In the end, the pain will come. It always will.
"You can go check on your garden after I'm done with you. Now, just stop moving away so we can get this over and done already." She said, grabbing the same ear (though carefully avoiding the previous piercing she had made) and sending out the same amount of electric current to numb the spot she was about to make a second hole. "Don't move," She said, and pierced through his left ear once more before he could respond to that.
Once again, she dropped the slightly bloodied needle back into the pink water, which turned another shade pinker. Elle handed him another cotton ball, and L'rei finally snorted with amusement. He had been quiet so Elleyte could work efficiently, and now that she's done, he started laughing in his own way, which sounded like wheezing guffaws. She fished out the two studs and cleaned them with another cotton swab, and sent a pointed glare at L'rei. "You probably won't be laughing if I pierced your ears as well. If you had any thats visible." She snapped, which promptly shut the dragon up.
When the blood had dried up for the first hole, she inspected it to make sure that it was clean enough, and slid the first silver stud in. "You can change the stud after a week." She said, and decided to add, "Also, you can cry if you want. No one else will hear it or see it." Elleyte paused, then grudgingly revealed something no one, not even L'rei, knew. "I know I cried when I got my first one. Right here." She said, pointing at the bright silver stud on her nose. She didn't know why she was reassuring him, but she was. Ah well. There was no reason for her to not cry anyway. She was 5 years old, and piercing the nose makes piercing the ears seem like an ant bite. It made her tougher and more resistent to pain anyway.

Ahh, well isn't that just adorable? Zeyshen thought to herself. She cried when she got her first one!
It had been an amusing few moments indeed. Elle was a good girl, and she didn't even know it. Zeyshen made a mental note to thank her for providing such good entertainment. Two holes in Dae, and the kid looked ready to ball. And to top it off, Elle told him it was okay to cry.
Now THAT would just make Zey's day. She giggled to herself, but decided it was past time to watch. Thus, she stepped out from her hiding place and cast the shadows away from herself.
"Well, what a... charming confession, Elle. I wonder how the rest of Dues would respond to it!" Zey said, a demented grin upon her face. "I mean, I know they wouldn't care if Dae did. They all think he's a wimp anyway, but you... you're the one who tries to look tough... that could be bad for your reputation..."
Zey grinned widely, showing her teeth. "but that's not why I'm here. I'm here, because I think its my turn," she said. Then she stuck her tongue out at Elle. "And I want my tongue pierced."
