Ahnal the Grizzly Bear. He looks quite normal on a cursive glance, but upon closer inspection it becomes evident that his eyes are an ice blue. He is also very wise and scholarly. Not at all quick to action, he often clashes with Determination's habit of leaping into action, whether he thought his plan all the way through or not.Power:
Determination has the power of Mass manipulation. He can project a field in which all matter behaves as if it had more or less mass then it normally would. the most basic application of this would be to make something weigh less or more than it actually does, as gravity is a function of mass and distance. It can also be used to create particularly dense or sparse areas of air, providing a slowing or reduced-drag area respectively.Weapon:
Determination carries a pair of tonfa-blades. They are like regular tonfa, except on the short end they have blades extending out about 12" from the handles. They can be used in defensive form (blades pointing inwards) or offensive (blades pointing out) depending on the situation at hand. They are made of heavier materials than average weapons, giving them above-average strength, but the extra weight is usually negated by Determination's powers.Appearance:
Termi (as he likes to be called) is about 6' tall and (with no fields active) weighs about 200 lbs. This extra weight comes mostly from muscle, but some of it is from compression of his bones due to regular use of mass fields. His skin is a lighter shade, and his hair is a light red. Eyes are the same as Ahnal, ice blue. He usually wears what would be known in the human world as very rich clothing. vests, buttoned shirts and pressed pants are the norm for him. When he is expecting to be in combat, however, he switches to a much more practical suit of light armour. It's mostly just cloth, but it has plates of leather and steel over particularely vulnerable areas like the chest, abdomen, thighs and upper arms.History:
In life, Determination was a junior officer in the army of Indafell. He was renowned for his courage and dedication to whatever mission he was assigned. His demise came from an unfortunate accident in which he was badly injured during some training exercises with the men under his control. The wound would eventually prove fatal but not after a solid week of effort by surgeons, doctors, and even a number of priests. It was said that he survived that long simply because he refused to give up on his body, even when everyone else had. Eventually he succumbed to massive blood loss, but his struggle made a great impact on all who witnessed it.Behaviour:
Termi's greatest fault in life was perhaps that he was too quick to action. He was slightly more intelligent than average, so he often had a plan. However, it was rarely the best one. This characteristic has been carried over into his immortal life, and magnified somewhat. He hates to wait around and plan things. This is reflected in how he interacts with other by a strong sense of impatience. When he isn't being terribly impatient, he usually has a kind demeanor.Other:
