A tall, proud ostrich named Seghen. Standing at 6'3", Seghen is a beautiful creature. His feathers are long and soft, tapering from base to tip and coloured in a gradient from black at the base to a dirty white at the tips. Bluish-grey at the neck and legs, Seghen has powerful muscles and can tirelessly run long distances. Hypocrisy often rides Seghen to get from place to place, and Seghen doesn’t mind. The ostrich has large, soul-searching eyes, the type that can scour your mind with a single glance. With two toes on each of his dinosaur-like feet, Seghen has remarkable balance. When his wings are spread out, they reach a span of about two metres. Seghen and Hypocrisy have a strong bond and can read each other very well.Power:
Hypocrisy’s power is to break the sound barrier through her piercing scream. A wall of noise rushes out through her mouth when she screams and knocks back any around her, much like a sonic boom. Hypocrisy practices her power daily, and she works tirelessly on improving her power. Currently, her scream knocks an opponent back a few paces and momentarily disables their hearing. She’s aiming to gain sufficient force to throw a person back several metres, not just a few steps.Weapon:
Hypocrisy wears a black satin sash from her right shoulder to her left hip. Five silver shuriken shine against the black. The shuriken are in the traditional four-pointed shape, with a circle in the middle. Their silver colour is mirror bright, and they are emblazoned with dragons curling around the points. The dragon is black when the shuriken are attached to the sash and red as soon as they leave contact with the satin. Hypocrisy is incredibly graceful and dextrous with the shuriken. She also has a close combat weapon, as well as being very gifted in martial arts. Her other weapon is a garrotte, also known as a strangulation cord or an assassination wire. Hypocrisy’s is a length of platinum interwoven wire. Each end is slightly weighted so that the wire can wrap around a neck or a tree or the like. Hypocrisy is extremely talented in many weapons classes, and the shuriken and the wire are her favourites.Appearance:

Eye colour: Hypocrisy’s left eye is dark brown, almost black. The right eye is half the same colour as the left, and half electric, ice blue.
Hair colour: Hypocrisy is so in tune with her summon, Seghen, that her hair is the same colour: black at the roots and gently fading to white. Her hair is long, just long enough so that the tips of her locks graze the bottom of her breasts. She wears her hair down and it is pin-straight.
She has a dragon marking (similar to the one on her shuriken) on her face curling around her right eye (the half-brown/half-blue one).
Her clothing is black. A form-fitting black long-sleeved shirt and slim black slacks. Her shoes are black.
When Hypocrisy was human, her name was Shoshanna. The small village she was born in had a reputation for not being the nicest place to live in the land. When she was young she advocated peace and happiness. As a young child, she was taken away to study at a school far from her home. This was a relief for Shoshanna as she came from a home with an abusive mother and a cheating father. The school turned out to be a school for assassins run by the most notorious thief in the countryside.Behaviour:
Shoshanna was trained for twelve long years to be deadly in non-weapon, sword, staff, ranged and other types of combat. She learned to be stealthy and make no noise. She learned to blend in with those around her and not be noticed.
Shoshanna was responsible for the deaths of many well-known politicians and public figures. She graduated from the school the highest in her age group and weight class. Shoshanna went on to become a hired assassin.
The day she died was the day she went on the most crucial assignment of her life. She had been hired by a political figure in a faraway town to assassinate his political rival. Shoshanna embarked on the journey willingly, recognizing it as the chance to be known in certain circles as the best assassin of her time.
She arrived in the politician’s district ten hours before the deadline. This was less time and more pressure than she usually worked with, so she was distracted. As she searched the district for the politician, she came across a vendor’s stall that contained many strange items. She was drawn to the stall like ants to honey. While searching through its items in a feverish panic that had set in upon sight of the stall, she found a strange, star-shaped music box.
It was covered in a layer of dust. Shoshanna blew the dust off gently and inspected the music box. She wound the small bronze crank and the lid unfolded into five points. All of a sudden a blinding light knocked Shoshanna unconscious, accompanied by a ear-shattering sound that resembled a scream.
Shoshanna never regained consciousness and found herself wandering the land, knowing three things: her name was Hypocrisy. She was a Sin. And she had a companion who would never leave her.
Hypocrisy is wary of others and eventually very friendly. She’s somewhat insane, and others tend to stay away from her. But she is compassionate to her allies and fiercely protects them.Other:
