I just thought I should do this because I have nothing else to do.

You find the book on an average shelf. At first glance there is nothing special about it. It is hard back. From a quick glance at the pages it is a moderately sized book. The covering on it is gray. You can see what looks like tooth marks on the side.

When you open the book to the first page there is only one thing written on there. I can learn anything I see and anything I do. There seems to be no reason why this is there. But you continue on to the next page. The writing on it doesn't look too good but you can see that the writing gets better later on.

Well... This is the first time I have made a diary. Well I guess I should say where I got this... It was in a market in the town that I first showed up in. It has been a month sense I got here. Into this world I mean. It is very, for lack of a better word, different. I have met a few people of this world. Two of them were nice. There names were... I cant remember...

The next page is almost fully covered in ink. It looks as if the writer was in a hurry or very nervous about something. It is the same for about ten pages until you come across a page that doesn't have any ink blobs on it. The writing in this page is very carefully written. There was much thought put into this.

It has been a few months after the war. I feel very different. The change that has happened to me is very confusing. My feeling of being a Drifter has been changed with the feeling of being human. I don't know if that is possible. But it is happening none the less. To me I still have the body of an immortal. But to humans I am one of them. It hasn't effected other immortals yet. I know it wont be very long until that happens. I wonder how they will react?

The writing stops short there. You wonder if it will continue on the next page.

You turn the page and the writing here seems to be very casual.

I have been in this town for a month now and the people here are fun to be around. Yes there are some hard times but they help me pull through. I would think that they consider me one of them. They not only help me out with jobs but also give me things.

Like when I walked by the clothing store they where having trouble moving some boxes. So I came in and asked if they needed help. They hesitated at first but then they agreed. So I got to work at putting the boxes to where they need to be. They were heavier but I still did it faster than any human could. When I was finished they gave me under ware that was not only very comfortable but also water proof. I continue to ware them where ever I go.

There was a group of bandits outside of the town yesterday. They were telling everyone to give them what they wanted or they would kill everyone. I couldn't let that happen. So I walked out to the bandits. They started yelling at me saying that they have no problem killing me. Then one of them ran at me. I grabbed his face and tossed him to the side. On his way I heard a bone break so I knew that he was dead. I continued to walk twords the last four of them. Three of them came at me with swords. I dodged one of them and blocked the others. I then grabbed the first twos' sides of there head. Then cracked there skulls together. I threw them to the side and kneed the other in the groined. I grabbed the man on the ground and threw him at the last one. They both fell down the hill. After hearing some pops from them I dissuaded not to see if they were OK.

I walked back to the village and everyone was cheering for me. It felt great. From then on everyone in the town either helped me out, Wanted me to help them, or just wanted to say hi. I think I will never leave this town.

I am in love . . . Pure and simple. Her name it Tach. She is a sweet little girl. Well I guess little is an understatement . . . Shes 10 years younger than me. But besides that she is perfect. Maby later in life I could. . .

I have met Purity. Nd she is as much of an ass I though she would be. The humans were right about her. But she can't be totally evil. Some Virtues stay with her. But they ain't completely together also. At least Tach is good.

Oh! That is another thing! There was a trade off for getting Tach. I think that the next time I see her is when she is about to execute me. I have no intention to see her again or any other Virtue that she told of what happened.

I have been going over so old books. I think I know were the sins went. There have been some writings of a boat that would come only on the solstices. It would take the people on the boat to a group of islands that no one that I have talked to knows of. Then there are the mountains. They are extremely cold and only the strong can get there. I have read about some Sins. they are all very strong. So I suspect that they went to both the mountains and the islands. I have to make sure that the Virtues don't find this out.
