This latest discussion about how 13 year olds should behave seemed to have gotten on everyone's nerve.
13 year olds have as much right and way of thinking as a 16-18 year old has. So what if Tach is 13, and Talent is 21? So what if there is an 8 year old age gap?
Detachment is about 100 years old or so, and just because she's stuck in a 13 year old's body and behavior she isn't entitled to (mutually, I might add) love a 21 year old? I remembered that when I was 13, I was rather attracted to guys of that age. Is that so wrong? If so, sue me for having these feelings that are mine alone.
Even if Tach doesn't mutually like Talent that way, this should have been solved IN CHARACTER. What happens in character, should STAY in character. Even if Talent was pushing it and Detachment didn't like it, THIS SHOULD BE SOLVED IN CHARACTER.
I'm rather disappointed that this was brought Out of Character, and turned into a huge fuss over something so small. Members here shouldn't try to push their views on others about petty things like this.
Like I've commented on the other rant thread of Seya's, so long as something works out, and it doesn't break any major or minor rule, just leave the role-players be and let them play it out. Don't like what you read? Don't read then, or just flat-out ignore. Don't make a direct attack or jab at other's way of role playing their own characters.
I'll add more if I can think of anything. Others are welcome to contribute to this, or contradict whatever I've said.
Bear in mind, this is a FANTASY roleplay site, that exists in a parallel world. It should not have anything to do with our own society, or our own views. Not directly anyway.
