Note: More things might be added, the Resort might expand, or you guys may give out suggestions and ideas. That and this might be scrapped cause it doesn't fit the settings of the storyline, but ah well, there goes half an hour's worth of typing? XD; I'm no good at drawing maps, but hopefully with this I can draw out a rough map.
Further up from the shore, the Retreat stands tall, with polished mahogany wood pillars that holds a steel enforced wooden roof facing the sea as an entrance, the forest surrounding all sides but the entrance. It is about two to three stories high, but only has a ground floor, therefore making it look quite spacious.
As you walk up a set of wooden stairs to reach the slightly raised wooden platform, what greets you first is a huge crystal chandelier, candles placed strategically to light up the hall that is filled with arm chairs, cushions, beanies and giant pillows, which seem to guarantee comfort for those who feel like reading or filling in their journals. Most of the items and furniture are made from wood, leather, wool and shredded ferns/palm leaves. A cheery welcome mat is placed at the top of the stairs, giving a homey sort of atmosphere.
Pass the main hall, you go down from the wooden platform by another set of mini stairs, leading to a large square patch of sandy area with several worn out, thick wooden poles that seem to have a couple of scratches on it. At the sides, there seems to be a stand holding thinner, sparring poles, wooden swords and various other training weapons that looks equally scuffed. A large gong was placed to the east of the building. Besides the hall area, on the left and right sides of the sparring square were spacey corridors, with rooms on both sides of the walls. All the doors are wooden, with wood frames. The handles are brass, though plated with gold.
On the right side of the square, there is a large brass gong, used to wake up the Sins every morning. If Empress Vengeace does not wake up on time (though she usually does), one of the villagers working at the resort would make sure everyone wakes up at 8 o'clock sharp by banging the gong twice, with 5 minutes in between each hit.
(the room plan will come later)
If you headed from the main hall all the way straight through the sparring square and walked straight on, you would reach another set of mini stairs that leads onto the joined platform (from the hall, certain areas like the sparring square are the only ones that are placed on sand) that leads to the mess hall, with a covered kitchen for the staff members and an open space set on the sand for barbecues.
Two large, long and grand looking mahogany tables are placed in the middle of the mess hall, with comfortable chintz armchairs to sit in. Food is served at a very precised amount of time; missing your breakfast, lunch or dinner means you go without food, very much unlike the old Empire where you had food 24/7, anytime, anywhere. This is all, of course, if you're not on the cook's good list.
The kitchen is run by Madame Cooke, who is formidable and rather intimidating, especially to those who try to ask for third helpings or beg for a missed-breakfast. Everyday, she comes up with different exotic yet tasty dishes. Food is served at these times:
8:15am for breakfast;
1:30pm for lunch; and
7:00pm for dinner.
The food is served with utmost punctuality, and is cleared away, eaten or not, after two hours.
There are several workers from the village at Isle Mjovi, who cleans, cooks, and tends to the Balinese styled garden behind the mess hall. The garden has several benches with pillows for relaxation, and several Earth elementals love to hang around here, tending to plants as a means to pass the time. In the middle of the garden there is an artificial pond, with koi fish inhabiting it, though there aren't a lack of tadpoles and frogs too. Lotus flowers bloom in the morning, and night water lilies bloom at night. When there is a full moon, the pond seems to be lighted up by the white lilies, reflecting the moon.
Room plans (so far, post to this thread to reserve your own spots! Though I might assign the rooms on my own if I feel like it.):
Right side of the corridor, the right corridor from the sparring square:-
Vengeance's room is the second room from the right of the sparring square, on the right side of the corridor, near the huge brass gong.
The very first room belongs to Avarice.
Third room belongs to Regret.
Fourth room belongs to Sadness. (ooooh)
Left side of the corridor, opposing the right corridor from the sparring square (hope that wasn't too confusing ; ):-
The very first room belongs to Terror.
Second belongs to Vanity (much to her chagrin, but hey, she's opposite Gea.)
Third room belongs to Wrath.
Right side of the corridor, the left corridor from the sparring square (trust me, its near enough for the effects of the gong to echo through):-
[Empty, spaces available XD]
Left side of the corridor, the left corridor from the sparring square:-
[Empty as well, spaces available!]
In each room, it is large enough to include it's own bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe and a queen-sized bed. Each Sin gets to decorate their rooms personally, or leave it as it is.
