 I won both Matt and Josh. ftw!! Matt, because he only lives (1-3 hours?) away (and I'm seeing him in May!!), and Josh....... because...... I'M GOING TO JAMAICA ON TUESDAY! <3 I hope I see your troll. My god, this vacation has been SO messed up so far. Lemme tell you. So, we left Friday morning, from the Toronto airport and flew to Montreal. Then we realised my dad's suitcase, with over $1500 worth of stuff (including my sketchbooks...) disappeared! Out of our family's 5 pieces of luggage, only 4 had made it to Montreal. ._. Our next flight was in half an hour, so we were screwed. We had to take it, so we flew without his bag down to Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale Airport.  We had our bags, but his was still unknown. After arguing and trying to locate it for an hour or two with security, we were told that they were unable to track it- it had disappeared from the system completely. Oh, joy. So, he was expected to cruise and play around for two weeks with nothing but a long-sleeved shirt and a pair of bluejeans? Ouch. Well, not quite- we always maximize insurance, so he's granted $500 to spend on essentials. Not near enough to make up what was in the bag, but we spent ALL last night in a mall, looking for the best deals on men's swimsuits, beachwear, and formal night clothing (for the Captain's Dinner on the cruise). This morning, still no news on his bag. We took a walk downtown and finished spending the $500- right as he got the call at about noon that they located the bag-- in Barbados... So, it's being flown back to Toronto and then out to Miami to meet us for the cruise tomorrow. And he gets to keep the clothes he bought, free of charge! Which is good news, but we hope the bag gets here before 10:30 am tomorrow..... if not, it's gotta be flown to Jamaica to meet us on Tuesday. xP I envy his bag. Sorta. And to think, we were going to hide one of my friends in it. >_> Oh, and I got heatstroke today.  Lol. Gotta love the caffeine-y, sugary, Mountain Dew. <33333 I'll keep y'all updated best I can. XD The cruise is gonna be fun, and they DO have internet, though I gotta pay for it. Moo. =/ <3 Seya |

OHRIGHT! Anyone who wants me to send them a postcard from a place called "Hell" in the Grand Cayman Islands, just PM me with whatever address info I need to put on the cards. ^^ I don't care where I send it to.... maybe we can all start being penpals or something. XP Up to you. As far as we're aware, it's less than a dollar back to Canada, and only a couple bucks to Malaysia!  And from one state to another, I have no clue.  ; But yeah! I'll -try- to send them all. The only thing stopping me would be getting on the internet to fetch them. I'm going through WoW withdrawals, too. |
