Loyalty ran as fast as she could, sensing the ocean, smelling the salty tang in the air. She was alone. But she knew that her sister, her twin, was following behind. Loyalty had been shielding her power for far too long, and it was killing her to willingly trust someone. Shuttering, she let it go, ranging it as far as she could go, hoping that no one was near.
Nalea jumped off her master's shoulder and scampered onto the beach, smiling as her little pink feet sunk into the sand, squishing and squelching. Giggling, she hopped closer to the water.
Meanwhile, Loyalty was following close behind, smiling to herself. She laughed as her summon jumped away from the freezing water, still cold from the long winter. She picked up Nalea and hugged her close, watching the endless waves coming and going. [/center]

spirituality followed loyalty. she wondered where she was going. then it hit her. the smell of the ocean. this brought back memories of the cliffside grave yard.
she smiled to herself. she looked up at ruka, who was flying freely above her. ruka was probably so uncomfortable in that house, she thought to herself. she looked at loyalty, who looked like she just released all her stress at once. maybe its her power, she thought, then said to ruka privately, i wonder what her power is?
ruka who was now gliding down to meet her said, why don't you ask her?
spirituality looked over to her sister, who was staring at the endless ocean. she approached her slowly. "beautiful isn't it? i loved to look over the sea when i went to the grave yard that was right beside my home. it used to captivate my attention so easily."
she turned and smiled a cute, friendly smile at her sister. she could sense many spirits nearby watching them with curious, friendly eyes. they were all smiling at them. they must not see people that often, she thought.
"umm..." said spirituality, "ruka and i are kinda curious, what is your power? i mean i saw you release some thing but all i saw happen was that the spirits all of a sudden loved you. they're all smiling at you now."

Loyalty looked over at Spirit, and smiled herself, glad that her power still worked. Keeping it bottled up for such a long amount of time seemed almost.....dangerous. She shrugged, glad that the spirits around them where, well, friendly. To an extent.
"It makes everybody - spirit or human - instantly loyal to me. They want to protect me, to love me, and to adore me. I works on summons, too." She smiled at Nalea, but she knew that the little chinchilla was uneffected by it. Loyalty scratched her summon under the chin.

spirituality looked at her sister in awe. she loved that she had such a cool power."what an interesting power, but would i know if it affected me? because i don't feel any different towards you. i mean i loved you already and i wanted to be your friend before i met you."said spirituality. "ruka loves you too" she smiled. anywho what did you want to talk about?" she was now playing with her nzappa zap, witch glittered in the sun light.
stop that. said ruka, who always got worried when spirit played with her weapon.
spirituality laughed at ruka and said, "don't worry, i'll be fine. but if it'll make you happy i'll put it away." she was still smiling at her sister. "she such a worry wort, isn't she?"

Loyalty shrugged again, staring out into the sea. "I dunno. Really, I just wanted to get away from E and whatsherface. I couldn't stand....to see them...." She covered her face in her hands. "I don't know!" she groaned.
So, Nalea took over.
What my Master is trying to say is, she couldn't stand all the negative energy coming from those two, she summon said to her Master's sister.

spirituality looked over at all the spirits that were watching them. she did a complete circle, concentrating for the right spirit to cheer up loyalty. finally she found one. when she called it over she found that it had a very familiar mind. when he made him self appear, it was dakota. "what are you doing here?" she said in a very confused but happy tone. she was kinda surprised to see him, but not that much. she was glad he had followed her here.
"hey sweetheart, hows it going?" said dakota. he was wearing a smug grin on his face, his snow white hair was blowing in the breeze.
she laughed at him."i geuss i'm going to have to get used to you calling me that." she smiled. "i need you to do something for me..."
"sure thing what is it you need"?
"i was wondering if you could go and cheer up my sister for me she seems a little down right now."
dakota grabbed her shoulders lightly making his body a solid. he looked at her strait in the eyes. "i could, but i think it would be better if you tried first."he said, in a serious voice.
"i know i want to, but i don't want her to get more upset. he didn't say a word, he just kept staring at her. she knew he was right, so she lifted his hands off her shoulders, but kept holding onto one. she feel his happiness running through his mind as they walked toward loyal.
spirituality let go of dakota's hand and ran up behind loyal giving her sister a hug. "is there anything going on between you and 'E'? you know if you want to talk about it you can. im always hear for you. and so is ruka." she smiled

Loyalty glared at her sister, and turned away. Her eyes filled with tears, and she sobbed. The sound started deep in her chest, then slowly made it's way through her throat and out of her mouth. She couldn't help it. Equanimity made her feel so many different emotions: anger, fear, lust, and love. She held her hand over her mouth, her eyes becoming liquid sapphires.
"I love him," she choked out. "But...he can't feel anything. He can't feel emotions. He doesn't understand! And then everyone at the house was asking questions.....saying he's too old and I'm too young...." The tears wouldn't stop. She shook her head to herself, and took a deep, sad breath, letting it out in a gust. She sobbed again. "I hate him. I love him. I can't choose...."
Nalea peeped softly, cuddling against Loyalty's wet cheek. Oh, her Master was so soft underneath her hard outer shell.

Spirituality looked over at Dakota with worried eyes. She didn't know what to do. she walked back to him. Dakota took spirituality in his arms, and whispered in her ear "talk to her about it." Spirituality looked into his eyes and saw his very emotions and powers. she felt a longing within her.
She couldn't think about that right now. She had to stay focused on her sister. She walked back to her sister. "What do you mean he can't feel emotions?! Like he can't feel love toward you??" she looked back at dakota who was smiling and nodding at her, but he had a knowing look in his eyes like he new that 'E' had no emotions, or something like that already.
Ruka went to stand beside loyalty. she hooted at her feet.

Loyalty sniffled. "He...just can't feel anything. I'm pretty sure that his summon feels for him...."

Spirituality giggled. "Ya i think his summon would feel for him. iI mean who wouldn't. And you should love him! Even though he dosn't feel emotion, well even he has to, to like or love you to be by you side like that. Even dakota knows that." spirituality looked behind her were Dakota stood smiling ate her with a loving smile. he had made him-self visible to every living critter now.
yes! you should always love him no matter what! said ruka. And he will love you in return.
"Ruka is right you know" Said Dakota kindly to loyalty while he put his hand into spirits. spirituality smiled a loving smile at her sister. she truly did care for her.

Loyalty smiled shyly, and jumped when she saw Dakota for the first time. Her eyes widened, and she took a step back. "Who...is....that?" she finally got out of her mouth. Nalea giggled at her Master, and hopped over to the spirit.

Spirituality laughed at Loyalty's shocked face, as did Ruka and Dakota. "Its ok he won't hurt you." said spirituality." But anywho this is dakota, he is a spirit. he endded up following us from the house. I needed him to see what was going on with the other two."
Dakota bent down to scratch under the chinchilla's chin. he was chuckling at loyalty. he stood up slowly and walk toward loyalty with caution, as if he didn't want to scare her. "Hey, hows it going?" he asked her happily with a sloppy grin on his face. He looked back at spirituality. "What do you think she'll if you get more sprits to come out?"
"I don't know should we test it?" Spirituality giggled.

Loyalty managed a small smile at Dakota, and then frowned when he touched her summon. She could feel the delicate touch of the spirit's fingers on Nalea's chin as if Dakota were scratching her under the chin. She barely surpressed a shiver.
"Well, um, nice ta meet cha," Loyalty mumbled, still weary. She took a step back, and decided not to look at the spirit, not caring if she was being rude.
Nalea sighed, and peeped happily to Dakota. She, inlike her Master, liked this spirit. She could tell that he was a good, kind soul. Ignore her, she told him. She's just in one of her moods.

Dakota had to laugh at his, and gave the summon a gentle pat on the head. Spirituality frowned, and walked over to Loyalty, placing a hand on her shoulder. "You could be a bit nicer, you know," she whispered in her sister's ear.

Loyalty scowled at her sister, and shook Spirit's hand from her shoulder. "I'll never trust anyone ever again!" she whispered back angrily. Nalea scampered to Loyalty and hopped up on her shoulder. Loyalty stuck her tongue out at Dakota, and walked away towards the lapping waves, not wanting to speak to either of them.
