Vengeance walked around the market, stopping here and there to have a look at the trinkets and clothes around. Money was never a problem for her in Indafell, and it wasn't a problem here in Kham'hur either. The only difference was that when she was in Indafell, she had to terrify the shopkeepers for the items she took fancy to. Not that it wasn't fun, no, but it was more hassle than anything.
Here, on Kham'hur, all she needs to do is pick out something she finds fascinating, and the stall owners would come around gleefully and announce that it was hers to keep if she wanted it. In a way, it was unnerving. Being a Sin for so very long, she was rather used to violence and hostile treatment from outsiders, never kindness and having people literally worshipping her footsteps.
Here village kids would look at her in awe, some of the braver ones running up to her to talk and fill her in about their days. Not wanting to seem too rude and insult the Khamman's hospitality, she allowed them to do so. This place is making me soft. She thought grimly, fingering the trinket around her neck.
A loud, sudden shriek made Gea almost jump out of her skin. "MY JEWELLERY. THEY'RE GONE." A stall owner wailed, attracting attention towards herself and her stall. Concerned villagers gathered around her, murmuring amongst themselves in hushed voices. "Another theft case? Then..." Gea drifted off, scanning the crowd. Sure enough, he was there. She moved over, sighing.
"You intending to give her back her 'jewellery'?" She asked discreetly.
Ooc: Waiting on Kristin for Avarice. Don't interrupt for a bit. Village drama! Or not.
