Candor snapped out of his daze as Altruism and Mercy returned to the campsite. Ethedus and Mercy left soon after, leaving Altruism behind. Candor shook his head to clear his thoughts, and walked up to Altruism.
“Bad dreams. I trust last night went well? Regardless, I’m hoping we can move on soon. There’s too many questions I need answered.”
OOC: Sorry for the short post, major writter's block.

OOC: Not a problem at all. I know the bitter taste of writer's block. That and the bitter taste of way too much studying packed into a single day... Don't you just love finding out about major tests the day before they happen? Anyway... No worries.
Altruism was a bit confused. Lovebirds? Why had Ethedus said that? He liked Mercy... a lot... but he didn't quite know how to act with girls. He hoped that he hadn't been leading her on, because he truly couldn't fathom anyone liking him as more than an occasional companion. He had lived too long in Hallow's shadow, and couldn't imagine himself as the least bit desirable. He wished that he weren't so awkward. Why couldn't he have noticed on his own? He had the awful feeling that he was blushing again.
They walked back to Candor, and Altruism could almost feel the silence. He was so confused! He was relieved when Candor spoke to him. Trying to put his confusion and mixed emotions behind him, he replied to Candor.
"Yes, the watch was quiet. Too bad about your dreams. I've been there. I think we'll get moving soon, I'd like to leave too. Mercy and I both think downstream might be the best shot. Our only other option is to wander through the trees, and that sounds like an easy way to get lost. We don't even know if we'd hit a road or not. We have to find something somewhere, though, no matter where we go."

Mercy could sense Altruism's...confusion? It seemed that this was a hard emotion to focus on. She was tempted to close her eyes and concentrate, then realized that there were other people around her. She let out a barely audible "Ha." in embarassment.
Ethedus rolled his eyes You're silly, Mercy. Ther'll be plenty of time to practice your talents later. No one even noticed, now pay attention, you don't want to seem rude. [/i]
Mercy adverted her attention back to Altruism and Candor.
"I think it'd be a good idea if we got a start on as soon as possible. Increases our chances of finding sometone y'know?" [/color] ---------------------------------------------------- Occ//: So where are we going again? lmao

OOC: I'm lost too... We have no motivation to go anywhere in particular, even if we knew where we were, and I think we've reached the potential of being just three Virtues with no idea what's going on. We need to find someone to explain it to us or something, but with the four character in a thread limit, we can only have one more person, and everybody is in a group... Maybe we could ask in the cbox? We're pretty much stuck as it is, maybe someone there can help...? I don't know.

ooc//: I feel like i haven't been here for centuries, lmao. Definitely try to find another Virtue to help us out. I was reading the cbox, and maybe we should send someone ahead? I dunno... we ARE pretty stuck. or, if we need to waste more time, perhaps we could show off our abilities, like a competition or something? Just a thought.

Charisma had been following this stream for some time now, and, just after coming over a small hill, he saw people in the distance.
"Hello!" he shouted, waving one arm to them. Breaking into a run, he got over to the campsite and these people quickly. He stopped to catch his break for just a moment and then aimed a beaming smile at the group of travelers.
"Greetings," Charisma began formally, "my name is Charisma. I am a Virtue, as I believe all of you are as well; your glowing and magnificent auras display it proudly. This is my summon, Emilianne-" He motioned to a white eagle perched on his shoulder. "-But you can call her Emil for short." The bird let out a small scoff of disapproval, then simply rustled her feathers.
"If it is not to brash of me, may I inquire as to what you fine people are doing out here? I myself was wandering this stream in search of others such as myself, and it seems my wish of finding my new kin has been realized."ooc:// You guys seemed a little stuck, so I thought I'd throw in my newly made Charisma, if you all don't mind.

OOC: Guess I'm up then! Thanks project-daemon!
Altruism whipped around as the man approached. He had been too far behind them to hear, but he was still ashamed that he hadn't detected him before this. He wasn't particularly an obvious danger, and he seemed friendly enough, so he only tensed a little as the newcomer approached.
As the man began to speak, Altruism could only gape. He was well spoken, but flattering to a fault and his sentences practically dripped with unnecessary words. Altruism was far from uneducated, and he had a wide vocabulary, but many of the man's phrases were things that he had never actually heard used in conversation.
This Charisma seemed to think that they were all Virtues, whatever that meant. He was talking about things that he didn't know, so he wondered if this man could be the one who told them what was going on. He hoped so. There was of course, only one way to find out, so when Charisma stopped talking, he was the first to answer.
"I'm Altruism. My summon isn't here at the moment, but she's around here somewhere. Her name is Tobor. It's nice to meet you," he put in tentatively. "As to what we're doing here, I don't really know. I suppose we're wandering too. We only just... appeared here, I suppose you could say. We don't have the faintest clue where we are, or where we're going.
"Now, I may sound stupid here, but what is a Virtue? It sounds vaguely familiar. I think one of the summons might have mentioned it sometime."

Mercy looked curiously at the newcomer. He was quite handsome, and she was attracted to his bright green eyes. She felt like she could definitely trust this new man- Charisma?
His Summon was also beautiful in her own respect. She sensed unease from Ethedus, however. He had positioned himself behind he back leg and was peeking out at Emilianne. Ethhh, She's not gonna hurt you okay? He a...Virtue? Pretty sure that means They'll be good
Ethedus slowly hopped out from behind Mercy, but he kept his eyes on the white eagle. What's with all the bird summons around here?
Ignoring him, Mercy focused back on Charisma and Altruism.
"Same here. I hope you have answers, cause we've got a lot of them." she laughed nervously.

ooc:// I believe it's my turn. If we're following what you guys had before, then yeah, it should be me, followed by Candor, correct? Charisma was surprised to hear that these Virtues had no idea about what they were. Was it possible that he was wrong? No, he was never wrong about such things, so it seemed clear to him that they must have lost their memories. Emil had mentioned that memory lose does occur with some new immortals.
"It is a pleasure to meet you all," he replied, "though I do not believe I got you name, miss-" He indicated towards the lone female in the group with his eyes, a hint of interest. "-And your other friend has been rather quiet. But, nonetheless, I would think it best that I attempt to enlighten you, my friends, on your current situation.
"You see, we are all Virtues: humans who have died, and were reborn as beings with supernatural powers and a summon to accompany you. We all owe our new lives to the glorious goddess of the Virtues - Purity, I believe. There are also those known as Sins, who are similar to us, in their origins and abilites, but hail to a different deity.
"I would love to go into further detail, but I do not wish to spoil the accuracy of this information with my knowledge on the subject being so minimal. I've learned what I know from Emil, and I believe she also explained to me why you all are so confused as to your current situation. It would appear that some new Virtues sometimes suffer from memory lose, while others retain the memories their past. But even with your memory, you may not always know what has transpired since your unfortunate demise.
"It may also be of some interest to you that I could see the main house of the Virtues while on my travels to this place. I, myself, have not yet been to this place yet, but I believe we would all be welcomed there, and it would seem likely that there would be someone there that could explain things better than I. But I do hope I have helped to answer some question, even if it has created more for you know."

The appearance of the newcomer put Candor on guard, and as a stream of explanation poured from his mouth, Candor took pause in processing it. His defensive pose stiffened and his mind swirled as the words hit home. Memory loss. New powers. Death. Summons.
And a new concept: Allegiance.
Candor massaged is temples with his fingers, trying to process it all. Nothing contradicted what he knew, and this newcomer (Charisma, was it?), seemed to understand their situation more so than he did.
Regardless, this wasn’t enough for Candor to trust him. Something didn’t feel right. If the pattern of names fitting personalities continued, then the name Charisma was rather ambiguous. Candor told the truth. Altruism had surrendered his self to others. Mercy held the well being of others above her own.
Charisma meant getting along well with people. Honesty or caring for others was not needed. A dangerous name. This was one who could easily bear a Heart of Ice. Altruism seemed cautious, which was good. Mercy looked smitten. Not good. If this turned to combat, he could be down one, if not two allies. He bit is finger trough his glove, a nervous habit.
Wait. His power. If he could maintain contact with Charisma, then the truth would be guaranteed, or so he hoped. Charisma knew nothing of this, but Altruism and Mercy would at least suspect the purpose, and hopefully take advantage of the opportunity. Candor noticed that his silence had attracted the attention of the others, and figured now was best. Keep the words short. Tripping over his power at this point was not a good idea.
“Forgive me. This is a little much to take in. My name is Candor.”
Candor removed his glove ad extended is and to the newcomer. If it was accepted, he resolved to not let go until he had answers he could trust. Hearts of Ice would not be underestimated. Not a second time.

I'm next, but skip me. I'm in a lot of pain, and I can't write anything. Just assume Alt is listening or following or something. I'll come back when I can.
