In the library within the House Eternity stood a newer virtue. Determination was his name, Termi by his friends. His finger drifted across the spines of the books in the great room before halting on one. "Musings on the Universe" it was called. He withdrew it from the shelf and sat down in a nearby chair, cracking it open to begin reading.
You won't find anything in there either.
Termi looked up from his book at the large mass of fur before him.
"Can't hurt to look. You always tell me to think and learn more anyways."
Reading books about nothing is not what I had in mind. The bear said.

Equanimity came into the room and looked around. His eyes found a man reading a book. He took a few steps closer and saw the title of the book. He walked over to the book shelf. His eyes found a book that he thought the man would be interested in. He picked it out of the shelf. Then walked over to the man.
"I would suggest this book. It is much better written and more accurate than that book." The title of the book that Equanimity had was 'War on War'. Equanimity held out the book for the man to read.
Othel, when they came into the room, Flew over to the pile of soft fur that he thought was a pillow. But when it started to move he quickly flew off of it and landed a few feet away. I am sorry for that. I thought you were a pillow.

Determination looked up at the book being held out to him.
"War on War? Doesnt sound like it has much to do with the way my powers work. I'm trying to figure out exactly how they interact with matter. It\s really quite intruiging. I'm Determination by the way. The big lump of fur over there is Ahnal. Who might you be?" He said very quickly as he placed "Musings on the Universe" down on a table nearby.
Pillows do not breathe or have claws. You would do well to observe before you roost, winged one. The bear grumbled.

Equanimity thought about it. He looked back at the shelves. Then a book got his eye. He smiled by finding it. He went over to it and picked it off the shelf. The title was 'Why this?'. Equanimity's power had activated when Determination had touched the book. He saw him using the power. To Equanimity it was an interesting power to use. It had many applications for its use.
"It has a section on the change of mass. It is very well written." Equanimity was about to look for a book to read. Then he remembered the question that was asked of him. " Oh, sorry. My name is Equanimity. That over there is Othel." He pointed of to the flying squirrel. "What are you doing down here? Why not travel? I know of many other places that have better books than here." He thought about what he said. A place came in mind. "I know of a vault the has hundreds of more books than here."
Othel bowed to the bear. I very sorry about that. What can I do to make it up to you?

"It does? That's unexpected. I diddn't think there would be much knowledge on the concept, what with humans being mostly unaware of even the possibility. Ahnal suggested I start with something more basic so I understand the reason things behave the way they do, but I'll read that one and see." Termi rambled off, moving towards Equanamity.
"Do you have a nickname, or a shorter version of your name people address you by? Equanamity is kind of long. Some people call me Termi, by the way, if you were wondering the same thing."
Just don't do it again, and I'll be happy. Ahnal said. He stood up and walked over to Determination. You should still read the basics, Determination. You won't understand half of the introductory paragraph with your knowledge.

Equanimity walked to the book shelf. "Well that book wasn't made by a human. It was made by an immortal. I don't know its name. But I have come to believe that he was an smart person. His knowledge of the subject is amazing." He continued to look at the books. But there was nothing that got his interest.
He walked over to Determination. "I prefer to be called E. It is the only name that I have that doesn't upset people." He then heard something coming down the stairs. It was the sound of boots. He smiled. "It sounds like someone is coming to join us. Judging from the sound of the boots the person is light but does have some power in there step." He remembered only one person from the group that had that sort of step.
Equanimity walked over to the entrance of the library. He then called out to her. "Justice! We are over here!" He then walked back to the book shelf to lean and wait for her to come down. He thought he should tell Determination about her but decided on letting him decided on who she is to him.

Justice flinched. “No need to yell, I am right here.” She said a little rudely. She didn’t want to bring attention to herself, she just wanted to make sure E wasn’t up to something. She looked down at her white boots, Of course. I didn’t take off my boots that’s how he heard me…Amateur mistake she thought. “Sorry if I come off as a rude person, I’ve just been having the most stressful day of my life” she smiled at E apologetically.
Looking around at all the books she walked past Equanimity and further into the library. Not watching where she’s going she tripped over something quite big, startled she looked back at the object that she fell over. “GAA!” she yelped , it was more surprise then any thing, it wasn’t everyday you found a bear lying across the middle of the floor. Less then a second later she realized it must be someone’s summon, feeling foolish she looked around the library to see a new virtue sitting in a chair. “oh, hi, haha” she laughed awkwardly.

Termi laughed as Justice tripped over Ahnal. "You gotta watch where you're going.you never know who or what's underfoot. What if Ahnal was a snake? or a lion? Obviously he's a bear, which is pretty dangerous to Start with. I'm Termi, Determination to those who like big words. I'm going to assume You're Justice?"
He held out his hand to shake hers.
why is it that everyone is stepping on me today? Is not like I'm small. I'm a goddamn BEAR!Ahnal said obviously perturbed at his new apparent role as a throw rug. Watch where you're going!

Equanimity had a bit of a stricken face. He shook his head. "No no. It is my fault. I didn't know that-" He stopped when he saw Justice topple over the bear. A compulsion to laugh came to him. But it was suppressed as soon as it came. Though he still had a smirk on his face. It was funny to see her do that. But he didn't want to stress her day out more.
Equanimity walked over to her and grabbed her arm. He could feel her embarrassment and confusion. But before his power could go deeper into her mind he hoisted her up on her feet. Then when he felt that she had her balance he let go. He walked off a little and looked over at Determination. "Yes. This is Justice." He looked back over at Justice. "Welcome to this small library." He shrugged. He had seen bigger.
Othel looked over to Ahnal. It is not that people can't see you. It is just that people ain't used to something your size sitting around. It will probably take a week until they figure out to look where they walk.

Justice shot Equanimity and Determination a look for laughing at her, but she couldn’t hold it for long. If one of them were to fall she would have been laughing to. She nodded thanks and smiled at E for helping her up.
She shook Determinations hand, ”I’m normally fairly alert you know, and I could take a lion easily If I was given the chance” her golden eyes gleamed. She was more then confident in her fighting skills. “And I’m sorry for tripping over you” she said kindly to Anhal patting him on the head.
Walking over to a bookshelf she browsed through some of the novels, ”Any suggestions?” she asked the two people behind her.

"I wouldn't know. I'm only hear to figure out how my powers work. I don't really care that much, but Ahnal's all "you need to understand how they work" and i'm all like "I don't care, I can rip stuff to shreds without understanding it. it's all boring sciencey stuff anyways. " Termi said.
You need to understand them or you'll end up killing yourself with them. Your power is not easily controlled, Determination. Overdo it and it won't be just your enemies you'll be rending asunder.
"yeah yeah, be careful or you'll poke you eye out. I Know how it goes."

Equanimity went over to where Justice was standing and did a casual touch on her shoulder. In that instant he looked into her mind. In it he could see that she was a sweet person but also a great warrior. Then one book came to mind that would fit her. "I think I know of one."
He went over to one of the shelves and looked it over. He gave a sigh and went to another one. He continued to do this for a while until he gave one last sigh and through his hands into the air. He shook his head. "The book isn't here." He though about it. "I think I know where it is. I am not too sure though."
He looked back over at Determination. "You haven't fought much have you?" Equanimity has noticed a patter in people. If you compare someone that hasn't fought in there life to someone who is a war veteran you will see many suttle differences. One is nice and isn't afraid to help others. While the other will make sure that everything that they do is helpful for them and there survival. Determination on the other hand seems to be in the middle.

“You really should try to learn as much about yours abilities as you can “Justice said still browsing through the bookshelf, “Not only does it keep you from hurting yourself, but it helps you with strategy, and you need that to become a skilled fighter.” She thought back to the time when she had just woken up, If Crayon hadn’t been there for her she would have been totally lost. Although her ability wasn’t very offensive compared to a lot of other immortals, she was extremely deadly with her sword. She smiled at Equanimity” What book were you thinking of?” interest sparkling in her yellow eyes, she loved to read and was always looking for a good book. She enjoyed almost anything that was written well, especially if it had a good plot line and interesting characters.Ooc: sorry that took so long and its a little short, I have to be all ninja to get to the computer nowadays… kinda got grounded NO BIGGIE! But I will have a hard time responding until after Friday so try and keep patient with me

"Well, I was an officer in the Indafel army before I got ressurrected, but I diddn't see too much action. Some dumb hot dog of a recruit accidentally shot me. I was only a Lieutenant Second class. I know my way around a weapon, But I'm no war hero yet." Termi said to E. He turned to Justice. "Thats what Ahnal said. 'Learn your strengths. Know your weaknesses.' I'd just rather learn them while doing something productive instead of sitting around reading some musty old book."
(sorry about late reply. midterm week from hell. Also, Miyu, take your time don't get in bigger trouble on our account. we can wait.)
