Equanimity was still looking off to Othel. "Ya. We will leave in a bit." He finally looked at Loyalty. "Othel is. . . different. He has my emotions but I have his mind. In a sense. But I don't know if I am the one to talk to him." He closed his eyes and tried to see what was happening to Othel. But he came to a blocked mind. One that only Othel could do in pure misery.
Equanimity started to talk in an ancient and wise voice. "His mind is a fortress. There is no way to brake in. You can only walk in through the door. But the door is too small for me." He opened his eyes and looked at Loyalty. "And it is too small for even you." He looked at Nalea. "But you are the perfect size. He will only let you in. I don't know why. All I know is that he just will. So can you please go talk to him?"
Othel was still in the same place. Still crying. He had not moved an inch. He wished that the pain would go away. He wished he never felt any emotion. Like Equanimity. Maby some day he will. He hoped it would be soon.

Loyalty was freezing, and it was starting to snow, too. She started shivering, and she leaned into Equanimity without thinking, placing her hand on his. Her cheeks flushed bright red. She glanced at him, looking up. Her lips were pressed close together with embarrassment. Her eyes were wide with uncertainty.
Nalea stuck her tongue out at Equanimity. Fine. I'll talk to him. She bounced over to the crying squirrel, her eyes clouding. Othel, let my explain myself, please. Her voice was pleading.
My heart doesn't have enough room for you and Loyalty. She saved my life. I was alone when she found me, and she made me her summon. I love her with all my heart, but that's all the room there is. Othel, I'm so sorry I hurt you. Now Nalea's eyes were water, staining the fur around her muzzle. Othel, please forgive me. It's like how Equanimity can't fell emotions. I only have room for one love, Loyalty. But I shall always stay with you. I care a lot for you, but not as much as you care for me. I'm sorry I hurt you. I'm sorry I broke your heart, squirrel.
Loyalty's eyes were watering too. She heard Nalea, and felt sorry for Othel. "she's telling the truth, you know, E," she told him, using his nickname. "Nalea only has room in her heart for one, and that spot is already taken. And that spot shall never be free, I'm afraid.
"Because that spot in Nalea's heart is taken by me, her master."

Othel stopped crying. Not because he knew that there was no chance. But because he found a chance with Nalea. He instantly got up a flew over to Nalea. He took both of her paws in his. She may fill your heart but there are always little gaps that aren't filled. I will fill thoughts gaps. In any way possible. He then kissed Nalea on the nose. He wasn't planning on giving up anytime in this universe. But he hoped that she wont bite him for doing that.
Equanimity just chuckled. He then put his fingers between Loyalty's. And held on to her hand. "Don't worry about them. Othel has a way with people. I just hope that Nalea wont hate him for doing that." He then kissed her on the lips. With the other hand he pushed away the tears. He put as much affection into the next kiss. Then the kiss after that. For some reason he couldn't get tired of kissing her.

Loyalty smiled widely. She kissed him back, squeezing his hand. "We should leave," she whispered. She wanted to go somewhere warmer. She has had enough of this bitter snow. "I'm freezing!" She let go of Equanimity's hand reluctantly, and stood up. Come Nalea, she called to summon. "Lets go meet some more virtues, E!" she told him brightly. "And maybe we can escape this snow!"
Nalea's eyes grew wide when the squirrel kissed her. She scowled, pissed off. I just explained myself to you, squirrel. Don't make me hate you. She was was sad she had to say that, but she did. She turned and ran to her master without a backwards glance.

Othel had a smile on his face. He flew to Equanimity's shoulder. What is so great? Othel looked at Equanimity with a proud look on his face. She is beginning to relay like me. Equanimity looked over at Nalea. No. . . I think you just pissed her off. Othel scoffed. She is just suppressing her feelings. Equanimity shrugged. If you say so. He got up and followed Loyalty.
When he cot up to her he again put his fingers between hers. "So where do you want to go? I don't know this area very well. So you pick the direction." Equanimity gave her a kiss on the cheek. Then gave her a warm smile.

Loyalty held onto his hand, stepping closer to his side. with her free hand, she pointed towards the Haven of Larks. "I heard there's a ash-covered forest there," she said excitingly. "It has survived a major forest fire, and that it seems to rain soot!" Her eyes gleamed in the pale light. "I would love to see it, wouldn't you, E?" She had started to like calling him that, E. It had a nice ring to it, even though it was a single letter. She stretched up on her tippy-toes, and kissed him lightly. She would stay with him for an eternity.
Nalea was on her master's shoulder, trying to ignore the sounds of the three chatting away. She pressed against Loyalty's hair, cold. Her master reached up and patted her head, and Nalea sighed. Maybe it was okay if she loved Equanimity. He seemed nice enough. And protective. Maybe. Nalea yawned, then started to talk to annoying fur ball known as Othel. If you keep acting like that, I WILL hate you. And that's a promise, squirrel. And don't EVER kiss me again, or I'll bite your ear off. She made that comment hearable in every ones minds.
Loyalty laughed. "She's telling the truth! You don't want to know how many times she's bitten me!! But we can stay here for awhile, if you want," she told him shyly.

Equanimity kiss Loyalty's hand. Then have her a smile. "That would be good. But we should leave here in a bit. There is no telling what spirits may come here." He then looked over at Nalea and started to laugh. "Don't think Othel here hasn't been his own bit of fights." He then thought back when he got into a fight.
"We were traveling when we spot a vulture up in the sky. At first we paid no attention to it. Then after a few miles it came down and attack Othel! But what I didn't know is that Othel was waiting for that. So when it came down Othel flew off. The vulture was following him. Then Othel went above it and dive bombed it. He smacked it out of the sky and it landed on the ground with Othel still on it. It started to claw at him but Othel grabbed its talons and made it stab itself. It then kicked Othel off of it and flew away. We laughed for miles."
Othel laughed along. And don't think I didn't come out of the without taking hits. It cut me a little. But luckily I healed up quickly. After that day we never saw a vulture come anywhere near us for as long as we can remember. Othel hoped that the story would put him at a higher standing with Nalea.

Loyalty grinned widely, stepping closer to him again. She looked up, watching the snow fall. "I really love winter....." she sighed. "But it's way too cold for me! But it's so pretty." She seemed to be switching moods, not knowing what to think. She glanced at Equanimity, cheeks flushed. She didn't know why, but she felt safe with him, but at the same time she felt uncertain. Nalea, please, if this doesn't work out, will you take me somewhere nice and quiet?
Of course, master, Nalea replied. She was glaring at Othel. The story didn't make her like her anymore. She thought he was bragging, all high-and-might now because of beating a scavenger. You know, Othel, I think your lying. Everyone knows that Vulture's don't attack live animals. They eat DEAD THINGS. They don't hunt; They search for carcasses. So your little fantasy seems like a fake to me, squirrel. She turned, facing away from him.

Othel scoffed. He was about to say something when his expression changed. It became a look of fear. He looked up at Equanimity. His face showed the same. They then looked off to one spot in particular. To many it was just like any other spot. But to Equanimity and Othel. They knew what was coming into being right there.
Othel instantly flew on to Loyalty's shoulder. His fur was on end. He was growling at the thing that was coming into being. We need to move! He pulled at Loyalty's shoulder. Come on! We cant stay here! If we do we might die! Othel hoped they would follow what he was saying.
Equanimity took out his Axe and pointed it at the thing. "He is right. We stayed here too long. If we don't get out of here fast we WILL die. I can't kill it. Its too strong." He looked back at Loyalty. On his face showed pure fear. He has see one of these thing before. He didn't want Loyalty to be burned with that image haunting her memory's.

Loyalty was terrified. She had never seen Equanimity look so scared. She glanced at him, then took out her sword, but ran. She ran behind him, knowing that he didn't want her to see whatever was coming. She was breathing hard, and she closed her eyes.
But Nalea's eyes were wide open, full of pure terror. She caught one of Othel's memories, just a flash, but it was enough to scare her out of her fur. She pressed herself deeper into her master's hair, wanting to vanish, to never have been here.
"E....." Loyalty whisper. "E, what, what is it?" She was starting to panic, and her voice was trembling. She wanted to be in a nice warm forest with sunlight making shadows on the leaves. That would be nice. And equanimity would be there, with her, and Nalea and Othel too. It was perfect. But a blast of snow-chilled air brought her back to the present, and she shivered with pure fear.

Equanimity ran with Loyalty. He knew that they wouldn't be able to out run it. But he knew of a place that it couldn't go. "We have to get to the realm of the white spirit! It can't follow us there! I know of where it is. Keep up with me." He continued to run. He ran to what others call the house of Purity.
The thing started to take shape. Its skin was Grey. And very rough. First its feet were formed. If it could be called feet.It was tentacles below the waist. And at the end of every tentacle was a spike that could pierce metal. Then its hands started to form. They were twisted fingers with nails the size of swords. Its chest was painfully small. It was for a fact only bone. Then the horrible face was formed. It was the face of a man but deformed in such a way that a look upon it would make the best man fell fear.
You can start the first post in sunrise.
