A worn, ribbon bound black leather book catches the eye, placed upon a table without anything surrounding it. Shadows fall across the cover unevenly, making a few shallow engraving seem much deeper then they are in reality. Marked in small, white font, the word '-{tainted}-' [/color] can be seen scrawled across the lower corner. Does this pique the interest? The black leather has softened greatly with age, and, the book being one of the largest in the room, you can assume that more than one generation of life has passed beyond it. What history does it hide? Consumed by the need to understand what makes this seemingly simple book appear so full of secrets, you softly turn the to the page marked by a silver ribbon... Etched into the paper is the following script, the handwriting messy and centuries old in appearance.

This is so grate! now i can stop reding Ninis jornals and start ritting in my own. So i guess that this is the first entry!
Im 19 yaaay. i dont feel any older thogh so i suppose its just a mentel thing. then again i dont feel very much smarter either. =P Why is she looking over my sholder shoulder... oh its because shes correcting my gramer grammer... yay NOT. okay okay so ill work on it but not rihgt now.
Were going to have cake when Erik gets back and i dont remeber having cake for a long time so this will be so fun!!!! okay bye! ♥Lark ☺

Okay so because Nini saw my first entry and said it was crap she wants me to go to school but i just lafed. so now i have to start trying harder and shes totoring me. =/ but i guess its worth it because someday.... we might actually have to leave this forest. what are we, but three teenagers just fooling around and Erik says we have to get on with our lives at some point because were almost adults.
i guess i relly am the only one who would do anything to not grow up. weres the fun in that? theres so much i want to do still and he expects me to be able to find a job one day. serisly thogh could you imagine me being someones boss? giving orders and all that crap.

There I got my revenge. ☺ long time no see? as you can likely tell the tutoring sessions have contineud even though its not perfect yet. perfect. I really do hate that word.
ANYWAYS it's almost christmas but thats not the point. there's a team of people from Indafell (or maybe not there, some looked forin) who are staying in Halodale for a while for some kind of reserch on the area. some kind of scientists maybe? i dont know and neither deos Nini but Erik says he's going to find out soon.
I went to see dads grave last week. It's been over a year, can you believe it? about this time last year is when Nini and I met. or when she saved me. same diff.
actually wait it is sorta a big diff. ouch. i owe my life to her. I cant forget that.... ever.

YAY WE'RE GOING EXPLORING AGAIN!
The scientists have left Halodale so we're free to wander again. They left in a rush though so Erik's warning us to be careful. He thinks that something must have been wrong but I just think he's being overworried as ALWAYS. We're going to west to the village then have lunch there then keep going west alllll the way to the other coast! But something tells me we won't be able to do it in a day...
We're leaving in about five minutes but don't worry I'm going to bring this journal. It's the first time in a LONG time that we're doing something exciting....[/blockquote] |
