Distance got her sobbing nearly under control. “I-I’m sorry.” She said to Deviance, still on his shoulder. She had never had a hug before, it made her feel safe and warm. She broke away from the little boy, she felt bad for putting him in the awkward situation. “My name is Distance,” she said smiling, “I heard them say yours was Deviance right?”

Remembering the other sins in the clearing she glanced over her shoulder. Her stomach churned as she saw them. They still seemed so intimidating. She tried to hide herself behind Deviance a little, it was useless but it sort of made her feel better. Namir rubbed himself against her, he could sense that she was distressed. “And this is Namir, he is quite playful but he tries to act mature” She teased her snow leopard.

I think you should try and go introduce yourself. They have shelter, and you can try to get more comfortable around people. Might as well give it a shot… She stood up and brushed off her dress. Standing behind Deviance she lead him lightly towards the group. Her face was flushed a deep red and she had a nauseous feeling in her stomach. When they reached the group she stood there trying to find something to say, couldn’t think of anything.

Hate looked at the other Sins standing around her eyes fixed on Deception. "There he is..."
She walked over to the group and addressed Deception, ignoring the others, showing her clear lack of social graces. "Hey there, we have a new comer who wants to meet our 'leader'....which is supposed to be you, right? Anyway, this is Brutality" Hate turned to her partner "Brutality, this is Deception"
Eyb who sat on her shoulder looked to the other Sins, Please excuse her, she's doesn't usually interrupt...her brain is just frozen The second half directed more towards Hate, trying to hint at her she was alienating people again.
"Oh yes! hello everyone, Hate here, and Brutality as I mentioned" She smiled and gave a quick wave.

Brutality followed Hate into the clearing. She had a way of barging in on a happy moment and ruining it a little.
"I guess that's one of the reasons she gets her name." Brutality laughed and Razdore smiled, only a little. He was about to be around more people, so the silence would come back.
Brutality sighed. 'I'll have to work on that silence thing of his,' he thought to himself. 'I heard that.' He heard Raz in his head, and laughed again.
"Just behalf."
Hate introduced him in a very unflattering way, and he frowned a little. Brutality walked up to join the group and looked at each one in turn. Finally, he came to face a man. His hair was silver, a handsome style that allowed for a soft touch of the wind and yet a tendency to remain the same. His eyes were icy blue and his robe was...well not on him. He looked cold and a little unforgiving, and yet kindness still showed, considering the surrendering of his cloak to the others. He was tall too, taller then Brutality, and most people couldn't lay claim to that kind of height. Though he had to admit, in an arm wrestle Brutality probably would win.
Brutality had had an image in his head of what Deception could've looked like, but that image shattered when he saw him. He had that leader look, a little, but he really didn't seem to have that commanding effect that he'd been expecting. Expecting? No, hoping more like it.
Overall though, his appearance other then his size didn't seem very leader-like. He seemed more like the type to avoid or even dislike people in leadership roles.
'He must be very powerful if he is the leader.' Raz said in his mind, and he agreed. That must be it. His powers must be immense to lead all these people. The thought of that alone brought the smile back to Brutality's face, and he walked up to Deception to introduce himself properly.
"I apologize Deception, Hate has some built up anger towards you apparently." He gave a bow, and said in as clear a tone as possible.
"My name is Brutality, and I am very pleased to meet the leader of my new home, finally."
Razdore came over to stand beside him and bent one leg down to bow as well.
"I am his summon Razdore, I too am pleased to meet you."
Brutality was slightly shocked that Raz had talked, but it didn't surprise him. They both knew that leaders weren't normal people, and they should be treated as such.

Schit held out his hand to shake Rapacity's hand. "Hey I'm Schit," he said. He turned to the group and watched as everyone came together. Schit felt like this was a good place to be. Just then Zoph pulled Schit out of the control of the body. "What losers," he said. "Hugging?! crying?! Your all lame," he said with a bit of a smirk on his face. He then heard a voice at the back of his head, "shut up you idiot!" It was Renia. "Its not lame. These people really could help us," she said. Zoph yelled out, "you shut up. You can't tell me what to do." He didn't realize no one else heard Renia. "I should be able to tell you what to do, considering how big of an idiot you are," Renia taunted. "Don't make me go in there," Zoph said pointing to his forehead. "I-DI-OT!!!" Renia yelled. "Thats it," said Zoph and in a flash Schit had controle over Madness once again. He looked around at the others. He made a smile as to say, sorry.

Schit grabbed the back of his head and screamed in agony. He knelt to the ground. "STOP IT!!" He yelled, "I'll come in there too." Zoph yelled, "but she called me an idiot." Schit said, "well she's right. Stop fighting. Your hurting me too." The two ignored Schit and kept fighting. "Thats it!" he said. Madnesses eyes went blank, then he fell to the ground. Alashon ran over to him and roles him over with his snout, so that his face was not in the snow. No, they can't do this to me again! Alashon said looking up at Rapacity. They did this when we were coming here. If they stay in there too long they could kill the body because Madness stops breathing when no one is control.

[Winter]

As Deception watched, the saddened girl appeared to regain some composure, he patted her lightly on the back, and smiled at Deviance as they began to strike up a conversation. Spotting Hate arriving with another newcomer, he decided it best to start making his way over, resting a hand on Rapacity's shoulder as he passed, to calm the man slightly, he appeared almost as anxious as Distance had.

Hate introduced Brutality boisterously before regaining some composure at the behest of her summon. He could tell that Brutality was a little uncomfortable to have been brought in by someone so openly critical of others, and so blatantly conflictive.

He walked over to the man, hearing his humble introduction, offering a salute, and a hand to Brutality, while placing a hand on Razdore's head as well. Deception allowed his voice to flow into their minds Thank you both for coming to see me. You've already been informed, but yes, I am Deception, Emperor for the time being, until Empress Taint returns. I can tell you did not think very much of me at first...don't worry, I'm not offended. I don't look much like a leader...perhaps I'm not, I suppose we'll see how that works out. This, he spoke as a giant snake materialized at his feet, is Lerithas, my summon. We actually have some other new additions today, Distance, the rather perturbed silver-haired girl over there, and....oh, it seems Schizophrenia has fainted. Lovely. The girl you arrived with is Hate, the boy with Distance is my adoptive son Deviance, the man standing beside Schizophrenia and looking quite worried is Rapacity.

Deception took a quick glance around You will excuse me a moment... He walked over to where Rapacity stood, and poured some icy water onto Schizoprenia's face from a hidden container. Touching the man's hand, he entered his mind, and put up a physical barrier between the three personalities long enough to give him some hope of waking.

Turning back to Brutality, he spoke firmly Welcome to Lehaita...if you don't mind, I'll show you a bit about why we're here. Using his mind, Deception conveyed the events that he had spoken of to Distance and Schizophrenia, the full history of the Sins, to Brutality in a much shorter space of time. Bringing him once more into the present, Deception continued to speak It is important, not just to build the future, but to comprehend the past. We expect Taint to return...but when, we do not know. Vengeance and I remain Stewards to her throne until that time. Welcome to the Sins Brutality

Deception looked around, everyone seemed alright for the moment, and after a pause, he added It's been an eventful day, as far as our days go.

[Seya.]

Deviance was still curled into Distance, absently listening to the mind-conversation going on between his father and the new people, when he felt it. Not another voice, but... a presence. A strong one? Increasing.... each second. He froze in spot, all of his attention facing towards south-east, as he tried to find it.

Hello....? He explored, pressing his power in that direction, straining it, making its small fingers stretch to touch the mass of energy and aura. Are you there? He pushed his abilities further, ignoring Berjanji's squirming in his lap... and finally, something out there seemed to have hooked onto his life preserver of power.

A booming, feral voice breathed into him. Child... sin. Help me to find you. I am lost to where you are.

Deviance bit his lip. Being lost was not fun. With a quick apology, he slipped from Distance's grasp and raced over to Rapacity, excitement and worry in his youthful eyes. "Pac'ty," he whined, grabbing the older male's hand. "Someone needs help. Come! Come!"

He yanked on Rapacity's arm, but let go in frustration when the boy didn't move right away. With a yell of Coming! to the south, he bolted off into the woods.

When Deviance tugged at this hand, he stood and stared dumbly back, at first not processing what the boy wants. When it registered in his head that Deviance wanted him to follow, the boy had zipped off already, further into the woods. Cursing mildly, he apologized to the rest, scooping up Asim to fast that he squeaked indignantly and bolted after Deviance.

Distance wanted to follow Deviance too, she really didn’t enjoy being left alone with some unconscious person that at any moment could wake up, yell and call her stupid, thne apologize and hug her to death. As most people here already more than knew, she can’t deal with normal social interactions well, not to mention ones that were so unpredictable. She shuffled her feet a little, and glanced at Madness every once in a while. He seemed like he would wake up soon, so Distance decided it would be safe to leave without him dying on her.

She sent a little nod Deception’s way as to let him know she was leaving, but would more than likely meet with the other sins soon. She just needed a little break from all the stress. Distance skillfully hoisted herself up into the tree she had been sleeping in earlier, and started to walk along the thicker branches. She set off in the direction that Deviance had ran, she already missed her new friend, but didn’t necessarily expect to find him again. Hopping from branch to branch she set off deeper into the forest, with Namir following right by her side.

Brutality shook Deception's hand as it was extended.
"It is our pleasure to finally meet you." Brutality looked about as all the people around started to move. Two left almost as he had time to take a look at them. One climbed a tree and disappeared, while one fell unconscious.
'Quite the bunch of people he has here.'
Brutality heard Raz in his head. He thought back: 'Yes indeed, they are a bit odd aren't they. And young too, I must say. But I guess this is our family for the next little while, so we better get used to them.'
Brutality turned to Hate as Deception walked away.
"Have you met all these people already?"

[Lt. hello II]

"I don't have time for 'friends' or 'family'. I know some of them by name, yes, but I couldn't tell you much more...I tend to keep to myself." She said looking around at the scene. "They'll just up an' leave you like everyone else." she muttered to herself, fist clenched as she held back a tear. "Look, you met our leader, you have no more use for me." Hate's voice was cold as she took a few steps away, but stopped realizing she had no where to go.
Hate, calm yourself, go back, hang out with the others, I have a good feeling things are going to change for you soon.
Eyb said, causing his master to turn and face the remaining Sins. But she said nothing, just watched. I will be back in a moment master. The vulture then flew over to Brutality.
Pleases excuse her...she's recently hit a rough patch, believe it or not, Hate used to not be so...hateful...don't get me wrong, she's never been an easy one to get along with. It's a long story, just try and bear with her, please.

Hearing Deviance's distant psychic scream of excitement, Deception was not entirely sure what had happened yet but as Berjanji and Rapacity's thoughts were contributed to the flow he began to form a more cohesive concept of what was going on around him. He didn't catch any names, but they had visitors and....a giant wolf....could it be?

Deception turned to Brutality and Hate, the only ones still remaining and conscious. "It was nice to meet you Brutality, and good to see Hate out of the shelter I suppose, but unfortunately, it would appear that something quite....significant has happened. As such, I must take my leave of you, and go to address the situation. We seem to be receiving some new visitors, you see. Possibly ones of quite significant importance given the nature of their appearance."

He paused, glancing at Madness, "Please do ensure he wakes up alive, won't you?" he said, gesturing casually toward the unconscious man, not quite aware of the problem plaguing his inner mind. "I shall see you both later. Once we have formally received our guests, I suppose. Farewell for now."

With that he turned on his heel, striding across the snow and following Rapacity's thought towards the site. The names were still indiscernible but he supposed he would learn those soon enough.

Hate watched Deception leave, then looked over to Brutality, and finally looked around the camp. "Well that's it, I'm out, this place is a piece of shit, our leader is busy with social calls, our true leader is gone, and it's fucking cold!" she paused and looked Brutality in the eyes "Till we meet again."
And where are we going master? Eyb asked as Hate turned to walk away.
"South, to find someone."
