OOC. I don't know what colours are free, so I'm just going to pick one and hope it's free. ;D Time walked down the busy street, his figure turning many heads in his direction. "People just aren't used to seeing an old man carry a giant scythe around with a couple of birds perched on his shoulder I guess." He shrugged it off, and kept walking. He was new to this era. He'd tried to collect as much information about these "Sins" and "Virtues" as he could, but he didn't want to delve too much into his own future. Looking into other people's is one thing, but seeing your own before it happens, against his moral code. Just didn't seem right to him. I mean, he'd lived so long already, why bother seeing the more endless days he'd be alive? He took a breather for a moment, leaning on the side of a building. It seemed this road had gone on forever, tons of useless shops and people buying things that would eventually fall apart or they'd use for a while then forget about. "They just don't make things like they used to anymore," at this he stroked his trusty scythe, which had been with him since he'd crafted it in Athens a long while ago. How long ago had it been now? He didn't know, since he didn't know what year he was in now. "The present kind of begins to blend together," he said out loud, more to himself then anything. Pera flew down from the top of the scythe, landing on the ground in front of him. 'It's been many years more then you want to know,' Pera's voice said inside his head. He nodded, acknowledging the fact that a talking raven might be kind of odd looking. The others clearly read this thought, and agreed. "Although," he thought out loud, "from what I gathered about these Sin-Virtue folk, they have animals too, though not as many as I was so luckily blessed with." At this he rolled his eyes and gave a laugh as Pera and Paron protested. Tychi remained sitting upon his perch, staring out into the crowd. Time looked up at him. "Tychi, speak your mind, what troubles you?" The raven looked down at him with it's deep brown eyes. 'I was expecting to have seen one of these Sin-Virtues you speak of by now,' he looked away again, 'but I have seen no trace.' Time sat down on the cobble stone road and stretched his arched back. "I suspect they already know we're here, as any good master would." Time laughed. "If they don't, well they aren't very good rulers are they?" Time, Pera and Paron gave a laugh together, but Tychi remained vigilant, watching the crowd for anyone who looked like a Virtue or a Sin.
OOC. This is my first thread on tSD, so this is kinda Time's intro. Anyone welcome to post. He should be an interesting character. Just don't expect a hasty response, am in university after all.

Markes walked into town and looked around with much surprise. It had changed sense he had last been here. There were much more people than before. He also noticed that the humans were being very different around him.
They were very nice to him. Hell! He could pass for a human here if it wasn't for his armor. He would get a glace or two at them but besides that they though he was very normal. As he looked into the crowd he saw something that wasn't normal at all.
A scythe was sticking up out of the crowd. Markes knew that the person holding it was a immortal. So he followed the person until what he noticed a guy stopped for what looked like a breather. So Markes walked over to the man and sat down next him. "Hi. Markes." He holds out his hand. "Whats your name?"

Time looked up at the young man who was walking towards him. He'd seen the glint of the armor from 50 feet back, he had a good eye for armor, but it hadn't really struck him as odd until the man walked up right in front of him, extending his hand. The young man introduced himself, but instead of shaking the hand he extended, Time grabbed hold of it and used him to get up off the ground. His knees popped loudly as he did so, and he moaned at the discomfort. "Thank you young man," Time said to Markes, "the pleasure is all mine, my name is Perhacules, or Time if you wish." He didn't using his new name, but it felt fitting to him somehow. He did rather like his old name though. It gave him character, but it also made his age much more obvious. 'Oh well' he thought. He turned to Markes. "You don't seem like the type of guy who'd be hanging around these town folk, are you from out of town?" This guy wasn't a Sin-Virtue, was he? He didn't have an animal with him, so clearly he isn't.

Markes didn't expect Time to use his hand for lift but helped him out anyway. "Sorry." He though it might have been the force of Markes pulling his up that popped his knees. After he heard his name Markes knew that this man used to be a Drifter like him. He examined the man.
He was younger than he looked. But he still had the wisdom of an old man. Markes looked at his scythe and saw the bird. Luckily Fenlar wasn't there or the birds would be in much trouble. Then he heard the question.
"Yes and no. I don't live in this town but this was where I first came into this world. I hoped that made some sense." He gave Time an embarrassed smile. "So you live here?" Markes knew that he should use small talk before the big questions.

Time looked at him. "Ah, so this is your place of birth, I understand."At Markes question, he provided a fairly accurate answer. "I don't live here in this town no, but I'm told that I'm supposed to be living somewhere nearly." Time looked Markes up and down, wondering to trust him with the information he had learned about his future...companions. Time's smile turned into a serious look, and he asked, having made up his mind quickly about Markes. "I'm supposed to be meeting something called a Sin-Virtue, whatever that is. Do you know anything or anyone of that name?" Pera and Paron on top of the scythe blade looking with curiosity at Markes, while Tychi watched from Time's shoulder, staring straight into Markes eyes. 'He knows something about it' Tychi said psychically to Time. Time heard him, but mostly ignored him, waiting to see first what Markes would say.

Markes looked at the bird on Times shoulder. He noticed that it was looking strait into his eyes. A chill ran down his spine. That bird might have a power. Markes looked at Time with a small smirk.
"Yes there are many virtues around these parts. But you wont see any sins. They moved to. . . somewhere." Markes didn't know exactly where they left to but he had a good idea on the direction. But then again he had no interest on trying to find them for now.
Markes gave Time a suspicious look. "Why do you ask?"

Just what he'd been looking for. This man must be one of these Virtues. How else would he know so much about them? His calm face didn't waver as Markes gave him a suspicious look. "I've heard that there's some disorder around here, and that the Virtues could use any help they can get." Time smiled, hoping that this would convince Markes that he wasn't an enemy. An odd newcomer yes, but not an enemy. After all, he knew from looking into the future that he had some role to play with the Virtues...or the Sins, he wasn't quite sure. Either way, he would need to find them to do this. "If you're going back to the Virtues camp, would it be too much to show an old fellow the way?" Time asked, leaning on his scythe as he went to start walking. He gave Tychi a raised eyebrow, and Tychi relaxed a little, flying off his shoulder to join the others in the air, hovering and gliding about in the air, free but never too far from Time. 'Here's to hoping these Virtues will have something for me to do to waste away the time,' he thought. Tychi looked down as Time looked up at him, having heard his thought. Tychi looked off and flew after the other two.

Markes now knew. He was a Virtue. And after what he said Markes scoffed. "The biggest disorder for the Virtues are them selfs."And when Time said about going back to the house Markes nearly choked on the air he was sucking in.
"For my safety and your safety. . . I wouldn't suggest going there at this moment." Makres gave a shrug. "Me and the Virtue goddess aren't on the best of terms. To summarize it all up she might try to kill me if she sees me again." Markes gave it some though. Then sized Time up.
"If you can make sure that I wont die when we get there I would be happy to show you the way." Markes looked up to see Times reaction. And then held out his hand to see if there was an agreement.

Time was slightly taken aback by Markes' response. "Try to kill you you say?" Time thought about this for a moment. He really wanted to ask why she might do that, what he had done. But then again, it didn't really matter. Time saw Markes hand extend. A hand shake. An agreement. Time eyed it warily for a moment. Where he came from, an agreement like this was binding, sealed and sanctioned by the gods themselves. Breaking them was suicide. "Give me two moments to consider your offer," Time answered. Time motioned to Tychi, who had appeared near his head again. With his beak, Tychi made a small hole in the air, just enough for him to fly through. He disappeared. Not two milliseconds later another hole opened on the other side of Time and Tychi flew out. He whispered in Time's ear. 'It's all clear.' "Ok Markes, I agree to your deal." He shook his hand and began following him. Time didn't know what he was supposed to do when they got to their destination, but he knew that Markes' future did not hold a untimely demise. So he must do something. But what? Time concluded that he would figure that out later. After all, he really didn't even know what he was dealing with. 'We'll see if this Virtue goddess is as powerful as she seems to be.'
