Sadness can summon a black, blue tinted raven named Kali. Kali watches over her from above and swoops down to rest on her shoulder if she thinks something is up or if she wants to talk. When fighting, Kali normally helps by just occupying the enemy while Sadness strikes. She is very nice and cares for Sadness a lot. Kali acts like the family Sadness lost. She is almost always seen with Sadness but like everyone else, she fails when she tries to cheer her up. If needed, Kali will do whatever it takes to protect Sadness.Power:
Sadness can make it rain replacing the tears she can no longer shed. If she remembers something sad from her past it will start to rain automatically. The harder it rains, the sadder the memory is making her.Weapon:
Ravens are sometimes thought of as symbols of transformation, which is why Sadness thinks she was paired up with Kali for a reason. Sadness can turn two specific animals, a ferret and a panther, but it takes so much energy that she can only transform three times a day. Transforming any more than that would cause her to collapse after the over use.
Sadness's current weapon is her necklace. The necklace is long and wraps around her neck three times. If she wants, she can unclip the necklaces and it becomes a thorny whip or she can leave it on and pull off one or two of the triangles, turning them into small sharp throwing knives.Appearance:
Body:History:
Sadness is 5'8" and kind of skinny but still fit, though she won't tell her weight. She is a pale peach color out of grief.
Hair:
Sadness's hair is the same color as Kali's, black with a blue tint. Her hair falls down to a little past her shoulders and is usually covering her face a little. Her hair is straight and for some reason always looks wet, that paired up with her skin makes her look a little ghostly.
Eyes:
Sadness’s eyes are a deep, ocean blue and when you look into them you can almost feel her pain.As Kye died she cried and one tear remained just below the middle of her right eye. The tear turned into a permanent blue tear-shaped marking when she turned into Sadness. It was the last tear she could ever cry.
Kye had lost everyone close to her and felt that her life was not worth living. For this reason, Sadness also has blue lines on the inside of her arm from her wrist up to her elbow where she cut herself so she could die.
Kye grew up in a nice family. She had two loving parents and a playful little brother. At school, Kye was on the swimming team along with other sports but that didn't affect her grades. She was a straight A, model student. As the year came to an end the school decided to plan a huge trip. Family was allowed to come. Kye sat on the bus with all her friends, parents and brother coming too. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a huge truck ran into the them. The bus got crushed and tumbled off the road. Bloody and torn bodies surrounded her as she was dragged out of the wreckage. Kye was the only survivor. With all her friends and family suddenly taken from her in the accident Kye felt alone, wondering why something so horrible would happen. Kye's grades dropped and she turned away from new friends and people trying to help her. She didn't want to stay at the foster home she was put in and so she took her own life. To her continued disappear, Kye was reborn as the Sin of Sadness.Behaviour:
It's not so surprising that when the sins split, Sadness followed her fellow water lover to the island of Kham'hur. Unfortunantly, even after three years, she has few she can call her friends- Vegeance and Regret being the ones she knows she can rely most.
Kye was friendly and outgoing. She was very helpful to everyone and enjoyed seeing others happy. Her personality got her lot of friends. She loved sports and was a great athlete. When the tragic car accident killed everyone close to her, her personality changed drastically. Kye became withdrawl and dropped out of sports. Only continuing to swim at the foster home. Being in the water helped her forget her sadness but not for long. She didn't make any new friends and didn't talk much to her foster family, afraid that if she tried to move on some unjust and cruel thing would happen to them as well. She keeps her Sadness to herself but it shows easily on her expression. Sadness is quiet and rarely talks, when she does, it comes out a soft sadenning whisper.Other:
Her personality hasn't changed much from coming to the island but regular swim time has helped to lighten her saddened mood. She has a significant amount of trust for those she has grown close to in the last three years.
